9 countries may lose religion, study says

While I worship the God-Priest that is my namesake, religion has proved to be one of the most valuable things in the world (and to play my own devils advocate, THE greatest cause of violence). In fact, one could argue the entire rise of Europe during the middle ages, and the subsequent of advance of western culture, is a DIRECT result of the intense religious fervor they had.

He's still in school and you live in your mommy's basement or your first apt.
Another decade and you'll drop your video games, comic books, and religion if favor of tapping that hot box you droll over all day.

Gotta seriously disagree with the prediction about Ireland (WTF?). They believe that because Ireland's unaffiliated percentage jumped 400% (0.4 to 4.2) from 1961-2006 that it represents a huge trend. Its the fucking postmodern era for crying out loud - of course the rate spiked, even for a country like Ireland!! Heaven, I believe Ireland even has abortion outlawed right now. If they make such lousy inferences with Ireland, what did they get wrong about the others, and why aren't places like France and Belgium on the list? But for the fact that the others are generally accepted as basket-cases...

Typical moronic youngin..... you now go to the 'ditzie' level of basic math skills.

You're just mad because the Matlock marathon got canceled for something cool like Tosh.0

Only a fool would build his/her life around any tv show or tv in general. Way to many fun things to be doing rather than sitting in front of the tv. Unless of course it is How I met your Mother.... then I will be the total hypocrit as that is one show worth watching.... cause Barney rules.

Progress to what? Progress for the sake of change itself can lead to bad outcomes, genocide, totalitrianism etc, mind-numbed progress chanters are just as bad as religious nuts. Progressing to the New World Order is a bad thing for everyone who isnt a millionaire.

All progress is, by its nature, risky. It is the responsibility of good men to fight against secular and religious totalitarianism, war and americans!

Okay, I stand corrected by SuperFuck, its only an increase of 105%. The point is, its a meaningless statistic.

Now, tomorrow is a Friday, so, please, SuperFuck, kindly go get laid, enjoy the weekend, and come back a little less pissy.

Yours Truly,

ROFLMAO..... stoopit youngin.... you fucked up the math AGAIN.

You went the wrong way in your guessin...

I'll give ya a hint.... 0.4 * 105% is .82

Just a bit shy of 4.2 don't ya think?

I wonder what would happen if you moved the decimal to the correct position?

Shit, the decimal button on my home laptop must be broken, because my work computer only gives me 10.5% :(

Anyway, this is one of thousands of reasons why I am in the process of self-studying math, as I have never picked it up in grade school or college. My deplorable math skills are one of the top contributors to my self-loathing, so its healthy in the long-run to pick up math before I become suicidal. That, and there's only so many times I can curse God out before he gets tired of all the whining and smites me...

Abortion is legal in Ireland if the women's life is at risk, it's a moot point anyway as most go to England to have abortions.

Topspin, what university did you attend? As often as you brag about it, I'm led to believe that you either didn't attend at all, or you did poorly because you were stoned all the time. I'm going to say around a 1.3 GPA, rounded off nicely with that C in cultural geography. The reason I say this is because most people here probably have at least their bachelors degree, but they don't go around shouting it from the rooftops as if it's a big fucking deal. Just sayin'.
I believe he has an MBA, but could be wrong. I do know that he is some kind of accountancy wallah at Chevron but is planning to retire soon.
