9 countries may lose religion, study says

while our horizons are expanding due to greater understanding of how things work, some items still elude our understanding, but we have gotten a lot closer to the basics and no longer have to fear the thunder

although the forces of 'nature' are better understood, we still need to provide for them and weather satellites help a lot, but we are still working on earthquakes

but we no longer have to worship the unknown

"no longer have to fear the thunder"...nice....very poetic.....DQ.....

These days, "worship", manifests itself in other, odd ways....todays ignorant worship labels and bow to greed and envy and those that reenforce those evil values, rather than invisible gods and spirits.......
but then ....time is like a wheel and what goes around, comes around.

Topspin, what university did you attend? As often as you brag about it, I'm led to believe that you either didn't attend at all, or you did poorly because you were stoned all the time. I'm going to say around a 1.3 GPA, rounded off nicely with that C in cultural geography. The reason I say this is because most people here probably have at least their bachelors degree, but they don't go around shouting it from the rooftops as if it's a big fucking deal. Just sayin'.
Where did you go junior I'll say you had a 1.1 and took 7 years to graduate.

"Religion" has been with us since the beginning of human thought, whether you think its 10,000 or 30,000 years......Christianity for over 2000 years.....not a bad run.

Religon has been around but it has changed so much that it is not really the same thing. People in the middle ages did not dress up in thre Sunday best and go to Church and as a result call themselves Christians. You were a Christian if you lived in a Christian nation.
