Does Anyone in Obama's Adminstration Know What Our Egyptian Policy Is?

Started out, it sounded like Obama was just going to hurl Mubarak under the bus, and side with the protesters... I guess, on liberal principle? Anyway, after the smart people pulled him aside and informed him of the situation, they seem to have morphed their policy in the past few days. Now, the idea of having the Muslim Brotherhood assume power in Egypt, doesn't seem to be a very good one. And yesterday, just out of the blue... the Obama administration basically invoked the Bush Doctrine of spreading democracy in the middle east... did no one catch that? Pretty swift move there, wasn't it?

I think this is a prime example of why we don't need emotive, knee-jerk, reactionary liberals in power. You can't LEAD by running around making platitudinous statements, changing your position with the winds of public opinion every day, based on the polling. That's just not leadership.

You wouldnt know leadership if it chewed off 1/3 of your dick.

Personally, I think you can't lead without incorporating the word "evildoers" into your everyday vocabulary...

I think our policies is to spread a fake version of democracy that doesnt really represent the will of the people. Zionist Pseudodemocracy i think they call it. Z.O.G. It's called Z.O.G. with a simulated democracy veneer, that's the policy.

Obama: Mubarak is a "Stalwart Ally ... Force for Stability & Good"

that was his policy, he hasn't stated that it has changed and he seems to basically be riding the wind with this, trying to stay out, but trying to look like a leader...seems indecisive...if mubarak is a stalwart ally...a force for stability and good....why isn't obama defending his stalwart ally with more vigor?

Just hope your policy on Egypt is better than your policies on Vietnam, Cambodia, Iraq, Kuwait, Niceragua, Iran, Russia, the United Kindom, Columbia ... and just about everywhere into which the American proboscis is poked.

I learned this weekend that Mubarak is is good friends with Cheney.

I would hope that because the situation in Egypt is changing daily that the Obama Administrations position on Egypt is adapting as well.
