Gov. Neil Abercrombie to abandon efforts to dispel claims that President Obama was bo

No, you're wrong. As is typically the case, you just refuse to acknowledge it. McCain did not "face lawsuits for his BC." McCain did face lawsuits challenging his eligibility for the office, but his place of birth was not dispited, unlike Obama.

Was he asked for birth records and did people demand to see the long-form birth certificate after the produced the short form or did someone just claim that he wasn't born in Vermont and write a book about it?

First, I didn't race bait. I was merely explaining why a black guy might take issue with the demand.

And I only had one "it never happened" and guess what? It never happened.
Yes, you did race bait. Saying it was "the black guy" and "nobody else" is a clear indication you believe that people want to know this because they are racist, you ignore that the candidate in the very same election on the opposing side who was "white" certainly faced the same question of eligibility, including with lawsuits about it where they indeed did request his BC.

If there were long-form BC's at the time (Virginia didn't start collecting birth records until 1857 long after Chester A. Arthur was born) they would certainly have asked for them. What did happen back then was a request for birth records that was ignored, lawsuits that were dismissed, while others did their own searches finding opposing "records" in both Canada and the US with arguments that the ones in the US were likely forged. Since his father was not a citizen until after his birth, citizenship would not be automatic for him, and his eligibility was questioned.

This is the exact same questions that are being faced by Obama (and with the same response). The likelihood of you just admitting the fact that you are flat wrong is about zero. But the likelihood of people reading the stuff I have posted and knowing you are absolutely wrong are very high.

Reality: Obama wasn't the only President who faced these questions.
Nigelity: None of the other 43 had to ever go through this.

Reality: Obama's opponent faced lawsuits about eligibility just like Obama.
Nigelity: Because it was a request for a subpoena for his BC, McCain never ever faced a ruling in court about his BC and it wasn't the BC that they wanted to see.

Reality: Nigel said, "the black guy" was the only one to face this. And the only purpose to mention the race was to attempt to get people to believe that anybody who questioned "the black guy" was a racist. That is race baiting.
Nigelity: Well, I didn't really race bait.

I was merely providing a guess at why Obama doesn't produce his birth certificate at this juncture. There's this black guy I know that tells me stories of shopping at high end establishments and waiting in line while a series of people that look differently from him purchase expensive items on their credit cards without being asked to produce identification and when he presents his credit card the clerk asks him for identification. If that happens to someone often enough, it can give them a certain perspective on things such that when asked to do something that, in their view, others in like position are not asked to do, they respond with "fuck you."

That's all I'm saying, hotshot. Now, you can call this race-baiting if you like, but the reality is that it does not matter if the motivations of the birthers are pure as the driven snow and I do not intend at all to comment on their motivations. I'm merely commenting on the possible perception of their motivation by Obama.

Just my view.

My statement was not a hypotheitical dependent on ifs, buts, candies or nuts. It was a 100% true statement. I know you like to reinterpret my statement so that you can attempt to disprove it, but it is unassailable.

Fargle Bargle.

Nigelity: None of the other 43 had to ever go through this.

Again, quote me directly. Your mischaracterizations are tired, tired, tired.

Reality: Obama's opponent faced lawsuits about eligibility just like Obama.

Now you are mischaracterizing your own statements. You said McCain was sued for his birth certification. That's not true. If you said that McCain faced lawsuits about his eligibility I would have agreed with you.

Nigelity: Because it was a request for a subpoena for his BC, McCain never ever faced a ruling in court about his BC and it wasn't the BC that they wanted to see.

Your ignorance of court processes is apparent. If you really wanted to know what Fred Hollander's lawsuit was all about you can read the complaint. Fred Hollander did not dispute McCain's place of birth.

Reality: Nigel said, "the black guy" was the only one to fact this. And the only purpose to mention the race was to attempt to get people to believe that anybody who questioned "the black guy" was a racist. That is race baiting.

All sorts of mischaraterizations here. I never said anything about the motivations of the people requesting his birth certificate. I merely gave an explanation for why Obama may be refusing to produce his birth certificate.

Nigelity: Well, I didn't really race bait.

Well, at least you got one right.:)

So the same states that approved Obama's credentials for the 2008 campaign are suddenly going to reject the same credentials because of a bunch of birther/oather/neocon/teabagger/Libertarian assholes can't have their way?

So the same states that approved Obama's credentials for the 2008 campaign are suddenly going to join into a conspiracy that includes two Hawaii newspapers from nearly 50 years ago, a Hawaiian hospital, the State of Hawaii, the State of Illinois (including their Dept. of Motor Vehicles), the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Secret Service.

The level of insipid stubborness by the birthers bumpkins is Unreal.

Your arguments are weak. Others, even "white" guys faced the same eligibility questions, you shouldn't be ashamed of your "baitey-ness". Your assertions were based in fiction, from the one how "no other President ever faced this before," I'm sorry you don't know your history, but this is weak BS. This isn't worth race baiting. I'm embarrassed for the baiters.

The "Birther Comedy" will go on in his second term if Bauchman and Jv benchwarmer is the best the Neocons can muster up.
