Will the new House cut the anchor cable?

Ahhhh, so the welfare givers know the people receiving it are illegal.

 OK. Now I'm really confused. Who, exactly, is complaining about illegal immigrants receiving welfare? The people giving it?

shouldn't everyone be complaining about it?.....why aren't you?.....

actually, I feel we are having two separate conversations....connection with what?....are you arguing that the Mexican government deals with the problem of illegal aliens by kidnapping and killing them?......

I'm suggesting that the ruling party in Mexico does benefit from this behavior, whether it be directly or indirectly.
I'm also suggesting that the Mexican Government actually condones the behavior, by it's inaction to deal with it.

He's Kanadian and doesn't care on thing about the US, except for the idea that he's scared that Canada might just adopt a medical program similar to the US.

he should be scared we adopt an immigration program similar to Mexico.....round em up and drop em off at International Falls, MN......

????......are you still pretending they can't get benefits?......

I'm not pretending anything. If paying benefits are legal then allow them to get a job and earn money. To deny them the right to work and then complain they are receiving benefits is ludicrous. How are they supposed to live?

I have friends and family in the US so, yes, I do care.

As for Canada adopting US style medical care surely you jest. Every country which implemented government run/controlled medical never reverted to a "pay or suffer" system. Not ONE country. Not ONE exception. And let's not forget every country started out with a "pay or suffer" system.

The folks who oppose HCR are beating their heads against a wall. Single payer/universal/government health care, whatever one wishes to call it, is coming. It's the civilized thing to do. :)

So, let me get this straight:

These people are entering our country illegally, crossing our borders in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere, or sneaking in through tunnels burrowed under the border, a large number of them (small percentage, but still big number) bringing in drugs as payment for those helping them across the border, and according to you we are supposed to just shrug our shoulders and give these criminals everything that people who wait in line and follow the law receive?

Do you understand that the illegal immigrants are a large reason the waiting line for legal immigration is slowed to a crawl? Is that fair to those who have to wait a year or more?

Why is it dough heads like yourself have such trouble comprehending that these people are BREAKING THE LAW!!! Sometimes in more ways than just illegal entry.

How would Canada react if someone came up there and started breaking your laws? Reward them with a job and benefits? Come to think of it, Mexico's solution sounds pretty good. Gather them up and export them to Canada. Montana has a large, mostly uncontrolled border.... Then you guys can give them jobs, since that is such an "obvious" solution.

Since Canada is promoted as being a better place then the US, maybe we could start a campaign.
Come to the US and get a free trip to Canada.

By returning to their country of origin, or moving to Canada and sponging off of your system.

Then I guess the Canadian rich don't care about those "less fortunet"; because it seems that there continues to be an attempt, by Canadian doctors, to be allowed to set up private practices.
I wonder why that is??

and how many people will the 'civilized' world have to kill in order to enforce it on everyone?
