O'Reilly & the big walkout on "the View"

To be a real man you have to enjoy watching men in skin-tight pants adjust themselves repeatedly, bend over, and tackle each other.

Am I right?

You're gonna love this one. In another night of insomnia a few weeks back, I was channel-surfing and came across the "Lingerie Football League", which is apparently a late-night filler. It's actually football - same rules, same # of players & all that, but played by women wearing lingerie.

I'm not kidding at all....

Yeah just beating each other off.

Olielys idiot words are still his though.

The far right wants a world religious war.

LOL

That's still better than Beck.

Pretty much. However I do think the walk-out was planned, and that it was planned to ensure he never was able to really say all of what he was going to say. All they were waiting for was for him to "cross that line", in this case he was "arrogant" (he always is, and he seems to never fear going on this show), and if they could stop him there his stance was "too strong" against "all Muslims"...

It's not like this was his first episode of O'Reilly's Adventures on The View...

O'Reilly's follow up on the Factor last night explained it all. O'Reilly is arrogant. He speaks his mind and he intentionally poked at those women. So what? They ask him on for exactly that. This is the typical temper tantrum tactic that turns people off this show for the fluff it is.

Thank you Captain Obvious, that is like saying a fine wine is better than mad dog 20/20.

I meant that even I would rather watch women in lingerie playing football than Glenn Beck doing anything.

Of course you would - oinking all the way I've no doubt!

He's been saying, "They have a right to do it, but it is inappropriate because of..." pretty much since the onset of this "issue". IMO they didn't let him finish what he was saying, interrupted and walked out because they know he has a tempered approach that isn't "All Muslims are teh EEEEeeeevil!" and that many people share his view. "They have a right, it shouldn't be illegal, but I think it is inappropriate at this time to build it there."

IMO, this is a moral issue, not a political one. We show tolerance by continuing to understand they have a right, we speak on the morality by saying "however, I don't think it is the wisest, most compassionate, right thing" or by saying "I think it is GREAT! Every place where an American dies from violence should have a mosque because it would make O'Reilly mad!"

It's not incompassionate to anyone but bigots who should all be sentenced to death.

:cof1:

Don't you just love how the two most liberal twats from the View are so offended by O'Reily that they have to walk out in a hissy fit. What did they think they were going to talk about? Cooking? Tips on dieting? Fall fashions?

Water always gets it just right.

But what if Water gets his way and he's able to kill off all conservatives and evil people do you think he would be satisfied and happy? I believe he'd have to go after someone else next and what if that were women (a source of much evil in the world)????

Well, I recognized in the younger Water and Grind a brutal thirst for power very early on. So I made sure to get on their good sides. I'm really not worried.

If only Elisabeth Hasselbeck didn't have such a big, empty space where the human brain usually resides. She is painfully stupid.

On gay women: "... a lot of older lesbians would have turned out straight ... if they could only land a man.

On Erin Andrews' peeping tom: “For the past like three weeks she been wearing like next to nothing,” Hasselbeck said Tuesday. “In light of what happened and as illegal and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room, in someway if I am him, I am like man I just could have waited like 12 weeks and seen this, a little bit less, without the prison time.”

On waterboarding: ...waterboarding is NOT torture but rather a “technique”...
...the Bush/Cheney régime was justified in using waterboarding to extract information from prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay...

On the morning-after pill: ...the over-the-counter distribution of the pill should be banned even in cases of rape and incest, because "life still has value." Hasselbeck argued that advocates of the drug use the "rape or incest" exception as a "bait-and-switch" distraction from the goal of making it universally accessible.

On a proposal for the gov't. to provide savings bonds to newborns: "...it would lead to fewer abortions due to women wanting to keep the money."

On Rev. Wright: ...equates Rev. Wright with Jeffrey Dahmer eating peanut butter sandwiches; "Does that make the fact that he then ate people less wrong?”

Has he really been saying that? I thought I had heard a quote or 2 from him where the response was more reasoned.

I did think the walkout was pretty dumb, though. Just shred the guy; no reason to avoid discussing it.

yeah....kind of like people who refuse to debate you, but have no problem constantly talking about you in an insulting manner and then repping you everyday

:)

btw...i think o'reilly is wrong on this, but its stupid to point to mcveigh...i don't recall him saying long live jesus when he blew up the building

Why are you talking about yourself? That's weird.

As for the 2nd line, McVeigh is not a good example; I usually go w/ KKK. Still, I thought O'Reilly's comments about the use of McVeigh were telling.

Onceler I just want you to know that he's lying and you are the only person I rep everyday, I swear.
