Without defending their regime, can you explain why anyone thinks we have a right to decide which gov't get to stay and which we will replace?
And isn't meddling in the gov'ts of sovreign nations part of what got us in this mess to begin with?

But to add insult to injury, the nephew of Kohmeini was leading a political opposition group to revoke theocratic rule of the mullahs for something akin to the old ruling elect gov't prior to the Shah. That movement his the skids when the Shrub broke off all diplomatic gains by Clinton and started his "Axis of Evil" crap. The Shrub even blew a second chance when Iran gave us intel against Al Qaeda after 9/11.

The really ironic aspect is that it was the French that gave Israel the nuclear technology in the first place, aided by Norway who supplied several tonnes of heavy water. Later in the 1960s, Israel was widely thought to have smuggled more than 100 kilograms of highly enriched uranium out of a nuclear materials plant in Pennsylvania.
What I fail to understand is why Israel continues to deny the very existence of the Dimona nuclear facility, even to this day, despite it being the worst kept secret in the world. It just makes them look stupid and what's more fuels conspiracy theories. Why are they so arrogant to not even allow inspections by the IAEA and sign up to the NPT? Even North Korea, India and Pakistan have signed up and declared their nuclear capability, so why is Israel so special?

We're not talking about my interpretations or the interpretations of the vast majority of Muslims, but the interpretations of the radicals who make up 1% or so of Muslims. And one percent of a billion is a lot of suicide bombers.

I strongly suggest you do some honest research as to what our intelligence services and those of our allies say about the estimated numbers of Al Qaeda members and the Taliban......THEY FALL FAR SHORT OF THE NUMBER YOU SUGGEST.
And for the record, just where did you get your stat anyway? Because if what you say were true, then 9/11 would have included masses of radical troops.....they would have poured into Iraq during post our invasion, and they would have held Afghanistan. AS hisotry shows, none of this happened.
