Donald Trump left China on Friday after a much-hyped summit of the world’s two major powers that was rich in pageantry and promises of stability, but offered little by way of tangible progress.

The US president had gone into the two-day talks with China’s Xi Jinping weakened by his prolonged war in Iran, and did little to change the perception that he and his nation are diminished on the global stage.

I've noticed that you sometimes quote articles from the Global Times. That's good. The Global Times is an official media outlet, and to a large extent, it represents the views of the Chinese people. You should get more of your information from Chinese sources, and rely less on outlets like The Duran. Their narratives are too stuck in a confrontational mindset. You seem to imagine China as some kind of resistance force — well, China will indeed resist to the end when it comes to protecting its own national interests. But that doesn't mean China sees itself as some kind of resistance force. We're not some righteous guerrilla army. Nor are we greedy merchants colluding with evil forces. The problem is your worldview itself. I don't know if you realize that yourself.

Chinese tankers pass through the SoH toll free in exchange for loans to rebuild what the US destroyed. China is winning over the Global South by building ports, rail, and roads without any involvement of the IMF and World Bank. That means poor countries don't have to worry about Western pillaging.

Empire prefers terrorism instead of diplomacy. That's why we fought a revolution against colonial imperialism.

Ya and a few weeks back there was some Demonic Empire muckety muck moron openly mocking the Chinese saying something to the effect "Being nice, building and helping others always fails against thugs like us".

It was specular....the brutality...the hubris.....they are not even trying to hide what they are now....they are proud of it.
 
And then Trump goes to China for the show and telling lies...

The Chinese are not idiots, they know exactly what is going on.
 
The Chinese were polite because they always are and they are trying to save the world from getting fried, but they have contempt for us....and it is becoming harder for them to hide it.
 
How much of this Trump understands we dont know.....but it sure looks like almost none.

It might not matter.....he might not have anymore say in things than Biden did.
