Trump is actively working to consolidate power, and in the process has either ignored or attempted to weaken and eliminate any existing guardrails. He is threatening how we have understood our own nation for the past two hundred plus years

How others respond to that will be determined next November, which at this time looks as a rejection of Trump’s efforts

They claimed during the Biden debacle that Trump posed an existential threat to democracy yet when he assumed power the second time they did nothing to stop it. There are only two explanations for their inactivity, they either lied about his being an existential threat to democracy or they hoped he would destroy democracy. I guess there is a third alternative, the left has no integrity and will say anything to gain power.
