I think someone in the administration protests too much. Comey is better left--and possibly should be told--to simply stay buried in the woodwork so-to-speak. That is, Comey should be a shadow and stay out of the news. In return, this sort of stupidity from this administration would end. It's best for everyone. If Comey can't manage that for like the next 2.5 years, he's far stupider than I would think.

That is, Comey shouldn't have posted that picture, and the administration should have ignored it publicly.

Sadly, Trump posted 8646 when Biden was in office. It was no big deal. He posted many photos far worse than that. I assumed people knew that 86 ing derives from bars when the bouncers removed the rowdy customers. They did not kill them.
This whole thing is absolute crap, and the Trumpys should be ashamed of how Trump is using frivolous lawsuits to punish lefties. This will blow up in Blanche's face and Trump will not care. He will waste millions just to harass the left, and the right does not care, they like it.

I don't recall that, so I can't comment. He could have gotten an SS visit too if he did. But I'd say the Biden administration handled it correctly letting it go whereas with Comey somebody needed to tell him, privately of course, to STFU.

I hope Trump keeps him on as Attorney General. His resume as a fierce, no-nonsense litigator is impressive, but his handling of the press truly sets him apart. He possesses a rare talent for making incompetent reporters immediately regret their dumbass questions. The expression on his face as he dismantles the simpleton's question is priceless. Already, the journalists walk into the room knowing their idiocy will be exposed. They are clearly intimidated, already longing for the days of Pam Bondi, whose cage they could rattle with ease. As hard as she tried, she just didn't have it, he does. They stand zero chance of doing the same to Blanche. I genuinely look forward to his press conferences and hope he stays in the post.
