Christian holidays and Sunday's off were/are practiced going all the way back to the Founding Father's who did not see such actions as promoting a religion, but I submit, dis so as a reflection of our national values. Oh I don't doubt it. Dearborn has a huge number of Muslims in the city if not a majority. Personally, I think it's great to see this kind of community support. This is one thing I'd love to see more of wether its Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Catholic, Buddhist, Masons, KOC, Lions, VFW, AL, FFA, etc, etc.

I can appreciate your enthusiasm for upholding constitutional principles against the onslaught of horrific Ramadan traditions. But I really don't understand the rightwing hatred and obsession with muslims. This really ain't that big of a deal. If my team had been 90% jewish, I really wouldn't have cared if, as a team, we collectively decided to play Friday nights instead of Saturday, to accomodate the Jewish sabbath. I actually would have preferred Friday nights, since I would have rather had my weekends free. But, feel free to be outraged about an evening football practice. I'm sure in the wingnutosphere its must be just one more example of our subservience to the liberal, islamic agenda.
