Trump is a non-believer. He has made that very clear. He never attended the church he claimed membership in. His niece said he would show up briefly if cameras were present. He showed zero knowledge of the Bible. In any discussion, he was allowed to evade his lack of knowledge because religious leaders are about money and power.
His first speech at Liberty was awful.
The Trumpys do not care if he is religious. They are "getting" the lefties. You would think he would take the time to get religious training so his bluff would be better. But he did not have to. Trumpys fill in the blanks and pretend he said them.
Christianity is caring about others and helping the unfortunate. That is not what Trump, or his people, are about.
Hegseth does not strike me as much of a follower of Jesus, even though he claims he is. Jesus did hang out with women of ill repute, but in a very different way than Hegseth does.
