What has to happen is that Christian nationalism has to be reduced to a fringe movement,
and liberals cannot stand by and agree by default that evangelicalism is just inherently right-wing and conservative.

I think white Christian nationalism is more prevalent in the South or in white rural areas of red states. I've been to two different evangelical churches here and have never seen or heard anything that had a Christian nationalist vibe to it.Agreed on all points.
