CONSERVATIVE Democrats, or did you really think the Republicans were called Radical at the time because they leaned rightSlave-owning Democrats, weren't they?
Sure it did, you don’t think their agricultural base would have occurred without the free labor did youSlavery did not establish the South or anywhere else, anchovies.
I might also point out the South lost the War of Secession.
They are so brutal and pay very little yet you are willing to let these poor slobs from other countries do them? How fucking compassionate of you. So how are these people able to get by without doing them? There are jobs not worth it for Americans, they are brutal and pay very little, while its easier for Citizens to get by without doing them.
Is that what Rush Limbaugh told you to believe?
The ancient Kingdom of Great Zimbabwe is known for impressive stone architecture, as is the Kingdom of Kush in Sudan, and the city states of the ancient Swahili coast.
There is no doubt the Greeks, Egyptians, and Romans were the most impressive engineers in the European and African spheres.
They achieved great architecture on their own later.I am amused by all the people of Irish, Scottish, Germanic, Anglo-Saxon, Polish, Scandinavian ancestry who try to claim credit for the monumental architectural achievements of the ancient Greeks and Italo-Romans.
Your claim was that there were no walled cities or architectural engineering in subsaharan Africa. The impression you wanted to leave is that everybody in subsaharan Africa was living in grass huts.I'm not psychotic... err, psychic like you seem to claim you are.
Look at the actual photographs. "Impressive they aren't." It's like claims that Mansa Musa was once the richest ruler on the planet and had a great empire. It's a bullshit claim because those trying to elevate sub-Saharan African achievements have to grasp any straw they can.
Greeks, Egyptians, Romans, Aztecs, Maya, Chinese, Khmer, Persian, Hittite, Indian... Hell, even the neolithic sites around Göbekli Tepe are more impressive. There's really little sub-Saharan anything to impress anyone.
They achieved great architecture on their own later.

Where was anything like that built in sub-Saharan Africa?
Much like the indigenous tribes of N. America, sub-Saharan Africa languished in the late neolithic and never really progressed beyond that in ancient times.
Just following your lead. You would fit into Angola.awwww aren't you cute?
can't discuss the topic so you will resort to humping my leg like a lap dog?
When Europeans first explored Africa, they talked of huge cities they saw. Those cities are no longer there. The jungle reclaims the land. However, LIDAR has shown the existence of the cities. that are buried below the growth.Sorry about your reading error. The OP wrote "surely Africa is as ancient. Where is the technological marvels from that time in Africa?"
There was no differentiation according to location.![]()

I have always said when it comes to science, engineering and law Western civilization is impressively unique, largely because of our Roman and Christian heritage.
Africa is a difficult place to live compared to the Mediterranean world or the Indian subcontinent. In Africa, there are virulent tropical diseases, dangerous animals, nutrient-poor soils and very little arable land that can be brought under cultivation. Survival becomes priority one.Nothing really impressive. The adobe structures of Western Africa in the sub-Saharan are no more impressive really than such structures the indigenous peoples of the US Southwest were building, and those aren't all that impressive. Great Zimbabwe, is not that impressive and given that it's a singular construction doesn't speak well for it being copied elsewhere.
Asia and India made great contributions in all that too. sub-Saharan Africa didn't contribute much, if anything.
I never said you were a racist, you did. What makes you think calling someone a racist is a compliment, Stooge?
Much like say, the Amazon basin in S. America? There, pre-Columbian, there was a thriving civilization with likely millions of inhabitants. This whole 'lost' civilization is only now coming to light and it appears there were walled (wooden palisades and earthworks) towns and cities all over it with established and organized agriculture. Smallpox wiped it out.Africa is a difficult place to live compared to the Mediterranean world or the Indian subcontinent. In Africa, there are virulent tropical diseases, dangerous animals, nutrient-poor soils and very little arable land that can be brought under cultivation. Survival becomes priority one.
Despite that, your desire to leave the impression everyone south of lower Nile Valley were living in grass huts is contradicted by the archaeological evidence, from Great Zimbabwe, to Nubia and Kush, to the rock-hewn churches of Ethiopia, to the city states of the Swahili coast.
Iron metallurgy existed in West Africa before it existed in northern Europe.
There is no denying the uniquely monumental achievements of Western civilization.
But I suggest you reach out to other sources of information on subsaharan Africa besides Tarzan movies.

I do not agree with the woking conditions of these horrable jobs. I do not agree with our current system that promotes illegal people being use for slave labor. They are so brutal and pay very little yet you are willing to let these poor slobs from other countries do them? How fucking compassionate of you. So how are these people able to get by without doing them?
How is it that you are able to feed yourself, clothe yourself and pay for necessities WITHOUT working? Could you?
Please dig deeper Veruca.
Our nation needs immigration reform. The reason We, the People, aren't seeing it is because TPTB prefer the informal system of indentured servitude because it's more profitable for them.I do not agree with the woking conditions of these horrable jobs. I feed myself by providing solutions to people who need help. Very easy job for someone in my position.
We used to have slaves do this work, now we have immigrants who cant complain do them.
We need a path to citizenship. Without it, we are a mess. Our nation needs immigration reform. The reason We, the People, aren't seeing it is because TPTB prefer the informal system of indentured servitude because it's more profitable for them.
Agreed, but the White Nationalists only want white people to become citizens....as if people from Sweden, Finland, Germany or other Nordic nations would leave their countries for this one by the millions. We need a path to citizenship. Without it, we are a mess.
The corporations and the wealthy want pressure on the illegals so they work for practically free.Agreed, but the White Nationalists only want white people to become citizens....as if people from Sweden, Finland, Germany or other Nordic nations would leave their countries for this one by the millions.
Immigration reform would include a path to citizenship, but also work visas, funding for enforcement and criminal penalties for businesses that hire illegals.
