I was already surprised by that during the missile attacks of 2024. Israeli Iron Dome worked perfectly with American aircraft carriers and Arab air defense systems. America does not have Iron Dome, and Israel does not have aircraft carriers. Israelis and Arabs were not known to have coordinated technologies. This is over hundreds of different weapons systems.

So, if the US needed it, the US could simply buy the systems from the US defense contractor that makes them for Israel, which in 2019 the US Army did...

Israel coordinates a lot of their defense technologies with the US in partnership, like Iron Dome.

From what I've read & seen, there was no concrete evidence that they were restarting their nuclear program.

Here's the deal with war: we have had quite a few of them since WWII. Very few of them have gone as expected. Most have turned into a quagmire w/ no clear definition of victory, and most have led to unexpected negative consequences, many civilian deaths & much more prolonged engagement than what was originally forecast.

War is to be avoided at ALL COSTS. The measure for engagement should always be "is there an immediate threat to the security of the homeland, and are there any other options?"

WAR IS A LAST RESORT. ALWAYS.

1) The coordination between Israel and USA. The two armies are pretty much fighting as one in an operation bigger than desert storm..

That's because this is all at the direction of Netanyahu.

2) The openness of US media. You literally have the FM of Iran doing the rounds on nightly news. Can you imagine the FM of Germany or Japan being able to do that?.

3) irrelevance of Europe - They were not consulted because the US expected nothing from them. They proved it by struggling to get even a single ship out lol..

ignoring your allies is a bad thing.

4) Iranian response - I did not expect them to just blindly shoot at pretty much every country in the region. I expected them to focus on Israel and UAE exclusively..

Why? Isn't that exactly the the justification used for this attact?

5) No US protests - As the media reports the war is unpopular but aside from lone people like the guy at congress doing his thing no one really seems to be bothered to protest it. Very different from Iraq and vietnam
