Puerto Rican Governor Signs Law Recognizing Fetuses as Human Beings

I knew there were a dozen or so states where they don't recognize the child.
I'm kind of surprised that Colorado is one of them.... How do you ignore the violent loss of a baby?
They simply cannot charge them. We had a vote on it even, and the population rejected it saying that such a law would be a step towards recognizing a fetus as a human life. The republicans here are entirely ineffective, they infight all the time and have no money after suing each other to spend on ads that might point out that California has such a law and the right to abortion is still guaranteed there, as it would be here as it was passed recently again...

That's unbelievable...and just doesn't make any sense... What do they think of fetus is if not a human life? ( Sounds like they don't want anyone to feel guilty if they decide to have an abortion... So they're sticking with a clumpells/ sack of tissue theory...)

Why do you need legislation to make scientific arguments one way or the other? Is the point of declaring that a zygote is a "human life" the ability to publicly shame someone who has an abortion? Is it to allow murder charges against someone who (even accidentally) causes a woman to miscarry? What IS the point, other than to pacify the religionists and the forced-birthers? As a Libertarian, do you support the government regulating people's personal health care decisions?

Abortion is not health care unless there is a medical emergency...
Having a baby is a natural process. Abortion stops that process and ends a life. Abortion is not healthy care unless it preserves a life. Abortions that actually preserves a woman's life or health are RARELY done in abortion clinics.

I don't understand why anyone thinks it's wrong to Want women to make better decisions... Especially when it involves their child...

The point is to stop an abortionist from purposefully slaughtering humans. If a person accidentally causes the termination of a human life that the person should be held responsible for their actions like any other accident . It depends on exactly what they did. Were they drunk and crashed into a 8 month pregnant woman causing the death of her baby or did they drop a bottle of shampoo in the store causing the same woman to slip and fall and lose the baby. One is more criminal than the other. Abortion isn't healthy care it is death care.

Because people don't want to be responsible for their decisions in general.
Correct... And that is a decision that will be with them forever. If you believe in my body , my choice then make the choice before you conceive...

It might be a life and it might be a soul, but its by no definition a baby.

The point is you don't get to murder other humans by claiming it's your body you retarded piece of shit.
