Let's face it, if some states didn't ignore their own constitutions and this law was in place in 2020, Trump wouldn't be president right now, as he would have already had his two terms. Fair and legitimate elections are crucial for politicians to get the message and react accordingly. That's call representation. Without the threat of losing their next election, they will only do things that increase their power and ensure their longevity. Look at the morons that are happy to go on TV and argue that men in woman sports is not only ok but crucial to protect transgender rights. What do they have in common? They are in districts where for one reason or another they have zero concern about winning their next elections even with a clear 80/20 issue. Why are they seemingly unafraid of losing? It seems to me that since the open borders and all the 'Covid changes' to voting rules more and more politicians seem to have no problem siding with the 20% and against the 80%. Hmmm, most unusual wouldn't you think? If the Save Act passes, I expect we'll see a reduction of those willing to give the middle finger to their voters. In the long run it will help save the democrat party, bringing it back to a party that responds to the majority of their voters again.
So, any of you care to explain why this is an attack on the vote? How it's not far more important that we prove we are eligible to vote, than it is to enter a Hollywood awards show for example. Please explain why the idea of your vote being cancelled by someone from another country doesn't bother you. How you can still support the 99.5% of your party that have no problem with your vote being cancelled by non-citizens and dead people. Not one of you will even try.
