I had all of Lehrer's records back then and now have all his songs on CD. He passed away last year at age 97. He was a Harvard grad, a mathematician, and did some of his songs on a political satire program called "That Was the Week That Was" back in the early 1960s. He was an amazing guy.

I was a member of the Tea Party when it was local in Texas. It changed when it went national due to the influence of the big money donors like the Koch brothers and people like Dick Armey. It became more racist and anti-Obama instead of focusing on its original principles. That's when I dropped out.
In part, this may have been one reason Occupy Wall Street avoided going national; fear of concentrated power and submitting to monied interests. It's also why is failed. Weird.

She was finally rescued when the sicko and his wife had to call 911 because they electrocuted her so badly she nearly died. The Teatard guy and multiple other "customers" were also arrested. That wasn't enough for him though. He and his father threatened one of the judges in the case. He also was caught with several illegal firearms. He went away to the Big House for the sex crimes, the threatening, and the weapons charges. As far as I know he's still in there.
