Of course, THAT law happens to be unconstitutional. The point is also irrelevant. As far as the Constitution says, the gun was legal, right up until he started resisting arrest.
He intentionally interfered with officers, so they arrested him. As soon as the gun became involved in resisting arrest, then reaching for something in his waist (the gun he thought was there? His phone?), the officers perceived a deadly threat and shot him. It's a BAD idea to reach for what looks like a deadly weapon.
The uncommanded discharge of the his weapon in the vicinity of the scuffle, and the constant noise and whistles around them preventing proper communication didn't help.
You might say the other protesters there had a factor in causing his death as well, just from the noise they were making.
Again, irrelevant. You are not required to have 'your papers' to walk around in public. Requiring a license or permit (or any form of government permission) to carry a gun is unconstitutional. States MUST conform to the 2nd amendment just as the federal government must conform to it.
Again, such restrictions are unconstitutional, though Texas cops and courts will land you in jail over it.
There are currently 400 million firearms in civilian ownership. At any time, approximately 100 million people are carrying a gun.

100 million people guns did NOT show up at a protest and do something stupid. They aren't shooting up movie theaters, malls, schools, etc.
They hunt, they remove pests, they help defend the public against a madman with a gun, they protect their property and their families, they target practice, they have competitions, etc.
