Bovino gets the boot

He's been demoted as the tRump *administration grapples with the terrible optics of shooting innocent people and then blaming them for it.

Looks like Noem and her little boy-toy are in pretty serious jeopardy too.

Good obstructed justice then resisted arrest and rammed an ICE officer with her SUV.She wasn't innocent.

Pretti carried a gun illegally. Obstructed justice. Resisted arrest and assaulted officers. He was not innocent.

Babbitt wasn't armed did not assault officers but she did trespass. But you celebrated her death . Why Elephant Man.

Why do you have to lie about the facts? It's sad.

Minnesota Concealed Carry Gun Laws: CCW & Reciprocity Map ...
Yes, if you are carrying a handgun in public in Minnesota (either concealed or openly), you are required by law to have your physical permit to carry card and a government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license) in your immediate possession at all times.

Pretti did not have his license or ID on him.

It's no different than carrying a gun in a bar or at a sporting event in Texas. BOTH are illegal and can land you in jail. I never carry in either of those situations.

"Public reporting establishes that Alex Pretti was a lawful gun owner with a Minnesota permit to carry, a fact repeated by local police and family members, while federal officials publicly asserted that he was found without identification at the scene — a claim the Department of Homeland Security made that has not been independently corroborated in the public record and is contested by other evidence and expert commentary, and is contradicted in part by scrutiny of bystander video and questions about evidence handling raised by local officials and reporters...

... no authoritative public source has definitively corroborated DHS’s claim that he lacked photo identification on his person at the scene."

Christie Christie Christie provide proof he had ID a CC permit on him. You can't just accuse ICE of lying without providing proof. The left also said Good did not run her SUV into Ross. But videos are conclusive that she did exactly that.

In Texas when you get stopped by a cop and you are carrying a gun you are suppose to tell them while your hands are visible.

Greg Bovino loses his job

Gregory Bovino has been removed from his role as Border Patrol “commander at large” and will return to his former job in El Centro, California, where he is expected to retire soon, according to a DHS official and two people with knowledge of the change.

He still has a job, it’s a beginning, but it’s not enough.

Slow brain is one my favorite ignores.

Good obstructed justice then resisted arrest and rammed an ICE officer with her SUV.She wasn't innocent.
Correct. Was the use of a gun needed? Probably not.
Pretti carried a gun illegally.
Untrue. He was carrying legally and I can't tell you how many times I have carried an extra magazine.

Edit, when carrying, one has to have ID. It is my understanding that that may not have been the case.
Obstructed justice.
Correct, and I wish we had videos for a few minutes preceding the shooting.
Resisted arrest and assaulted officers.
Partially true , but things really got our of control when one of the officers violently pushed that woman to the ground. To me, it looked like he was trying to help her when he was swarmed. I never heard if the gun was holstered or not. That is a heavy full-size pistol fully decked out with an RMR sight. Not something one would casually shove into their waistband without a holster.
Wierd, but possible is if, an agent grabbed Alex's gun and dit went off, the word gun was shouted, and all hell broke loose. I am curious if they find that gun was fired.
Nine shots fired into a body, especially with all the people in close proximity, makes no sense to me at all.
He was not innocent.
Nobody is innocent in this tragedy.

Ashley, Good, and Pretti, should not have been there in the first place.
