My youngest is graduating in college this year with a degree in Psychology, but is applying for both Masters and PhD programs currently. I believe if she gets into a Masters over a PhD program she will become a therapist. I do not know what she'll do with the PhD. Though in her college her psy degree is a science degree not an arts degree.

It means she did not have a foreign language equivalency. Not important in my thinking.

She could check programs like Texas Tech that have bridge program from B.S. to PhD.

Best HR Director I ever worked with had a degree in finance. At Lockheed the HR Director had a Masters in Human Resources - imagine that.

I’ve known several HR people in organizations.
They have a lot of power, too much.
I’d estimate a good half did more to sabotage their organizations than help them.
I knew one that actively created a hostile work environment toward employees as if to demonstrate her power and control.
I could give several other examples of their incompetence.
FWIW, they were all women.
