One morning I was awaken by the yelps and screams of a puppy, turns out to be a pit. Its owner had stopped in front of my bedroom window to torture this poor puppy, he was actually swinging this poor puppy by its neck...I peaked out my window and saw that it was the local drug guy walking this puppy. I'm a 66 year old nobody...Imagine Comey, Kelly and all those in Trump's first term WHO HAD MORE THAN THE OPPORTUNITY TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND SPEAK OUT AGAINST HOW CORRUPT AND IMORALLY INEPT TRUMP WAS, IMAGINE HOW MUCH MISERY THEY COULD HAVE SAVED THEMSELVES AND THIS NATION, LET ALONE THE WORLD. They're cowards and I hope the full weight of Trump's madness make their lives a living hell.

To phrase it as the people in that video did, it could be construed to be one. The specifically said that they were talking about Trump and the current administration. They then said troops had a duty to not obey "illegal" orders (from Trump and the administration). They weren't making some generalized statement but rather strongly implying that Trump and his administration were issuing illegal orders.

That is encouraging mutiny among the troops. While it's a very weak case, it no doubt is the case.

What they said was not "parts of our constitution." They were citing the UCMJ. When you join the military, you give up some parts of your constitutional rights and instead fall under the UCMJ.

In fact saying "troops had a duty to not obey "illegal" orders (from Trump and the admin)" as you say only means exactly what it says. They they have a duty to not follow any illegal orders.

It does not mean Trump gave an illegal nor that he will. But it is telling them of their obligation IF it were to happen.


And speaking to that 'IF' is important when Trump himself has said so many things that if police or officials followed would be illegal. With Trump himself prior saying he could tell the military to do illegal things and that they would do it.

And I guess I'm not supposed to notice a) that you're using as a standard for the year 2025, events that occurred in the 1880's, and b) that you haven't backed up your claims with linked quotes from any reliable source.

Even if the US Army did engage in some riot/uprising control back then, they weren't sent in merely to engage in everyday policing or helping ICE enforce US immigration policy the way trump has suggested they could be.
