Generally have their backpacks or those small pull carts. They usually get the cheapest cuts of meat they can and not much in quantity. I don’t keep exact count, but I would say the majority are middle aged women. My guess is the majority of those are a victims of physical and emotional abuse. No doubt, a lot of substance abuse, as well.

I can tell you though, they sure as shit aren’t getting their hair and nails done.

Maybe the should increase their income by having a lot of babies. <sarcasm>

Honestly if they are abuse victims and just need a temporary hand up I'm glad to help. Or they lost a job and need temporary help. I think the government should pick them up at the shelter take them to a center and educate them on how to find jobs. Clean them up and give them a free lunch and take them to job interviews. Our social welfare system is designed to be a temporary help not a long term lifestyle.
