I was raised to believe in our elections — that they’re decided by the people. I might not always like how it turns out, but that’s the deal. The vote stands. That’s how we do it in this country.I went to Patton Junior High one year and then Leavenworth Senior High. Good times.
You and I can agree to disagree on that point, but it depends upon how one defines "worst we've seen". Divisive? Constitutional violations? Abuse of office? Weakening our nation in the case of our enemies? I believe Trump tops all Presidents in all the categories.
Other Presidents have been corrupt, but I can't name a single one who weakened the United States against our enemies much less flagrantly violated our Constitution and his oath of office.
Trump got seventy-seven million votes and won. My opinion doesn’t change that — the people spoke. If we don’t like it — you, me, or anybody — then we show up next time and vote again. That’s the process.
We don’t fix things by shouting or tearing each other apart. We do it at the ballot box. Whether the guy’s a saint or a scoundrel, if the people put him there, then that’s the will of the majority — and that’s called democracy.
And while I’m at it — I don’t think this election, or the last one, or the one before it, or the one before that was rigged. That’s just BS.
