Chicago Transit Funds Frozen

Yep, just as I thought. This is so fucking consistent and predictable.

You sad fucks make some bullshit claim, get called on it, can’t back it up, then resort to name calling.

As predictable as the sunrise.
Let's see you go fetch where the money comes from to fund them. :rolleyes2:
I say it's taxes.

Tell us, what city or town in the country is self sufficient in their infrastructure?

You claim they exist. I’ll wait.

The Republicans have NEVER wanted a clean CR, whatever the fuck that is. The hangup is on the ACA, which the Republicans have wanted to destroy since day 1.

What the Republicans want in a "clean continuing resolution (CR)" is a simple bill that says that government funding will continue to the end of November (or some other date forward) with spending to continue as it currently is legislated. That is, no changes, no add-ons, that sort of thing.
The illegal health care is a fucking lie.
Yes, the Democrats do want to fund healthcare for illegals. There are two primary ways this would occur:

1. Reimbursing hospitals and emergency rooms for healthcare given to illegals who are admitted. The issue here is the Democrats don't want mandatory reporting of illegals to ICE to occur as part of that. They want them treated without their paying for their bills, the government to indirectly cover that by reimbursing the hospital for failure to pay and not requiring said hospital to report they treated an illegal to law enforcement.

2. Through expanded Medicaid under Obamacare to illegals who were given parole or other quasi-legal status within the US as was occurring under the Biden administration.

Even the Left leaning sources grudgingly admit obliquely that this is true.

Before the bill passed earlier this year, U.S. law allowed several classes of immigrants living in the U.S. legally or with the government's permission to apply for and get Medicaid, if they met other requirements.

Those groups included lawful permanent residents (also known as green card holders), Cubans and Haitians who entered the U.S. legally, people granted a humanitarian benefit known as "parole" to enter the country, refugees, immigrants who won asylum and others, including those who were issued deportation reprieves by a judge.

Some people in those groups may have crossed into the U.S. illegally but were later granted legal status, like asylum, or deportation deferrals by immigration judges.

So, yes, some illegals would get access to health insurance under Medicaid with the Democrat proposed version of a CR.

Why the FUCK should Americans have to foot the healthcare bills for someone who is here awaiting deportation, for example? WTF kind of fucked up logic is that shit?!

LOL

What Trump and the Republicans SAY is a far cry from the truth. So don’t try the bullshit of quoting them.

The other source is Whitehouse.gov DISMISSED!

Those granted asylum and other exemptions are here LEGALLY, as adjudicated by the courts.

Fuck man, I feel like I’m talking to my seven year old kid again

Ad hominem.

Try actually using something called facts for once...

Wrong. It gives a temporary status to be in the country. For example, once given an order of deportation, you have been adjudged to be in the US illegally and are simply awaiting removal. That doesn't change that you are here illegally and should not be entitled to any government services, like health insurance. Name another US crime where the criminal, as a result of being found guilty, is thereby entitled to government assistance they otherwise wouldn't be eligible for.

Grants of asylum are different from having made a claim to needing asylum. You are conflating the two. It's like lumping illegal aliens in with legal immigrants and calling them all "immigrants," or trying to use euphemisms like "undocumented" to sugar coat a turd.

Those who are in the US illegally, regardless of other status, should not be given access to any sort of health insurance coverage whatsoever. They should be made to pay the full amount out-of-pocket.
Fuck man, I feel like I’m talking to my seven year old kid again
Stop talking to the mirror.

Not my city either. I would never live in a shit hole blue city.
Most cities are blue but some (very few) actually do a good job not letting them go completely to shit.
Bellingham, WA is a great example.
They don’t allow the homeless to sleep on sidewalks much less camp there. Very nice and clean place.
