Yes. Have you? (Apparently not). Seriously, especially in election years or a news cycle. He is basically a one man version of "The View" and his jokes die because of it. Once he did that thing about his kid and got a ton of viewership on it, he went all in. As I said, he became just another voice in "Hate (tRump) Night TV"...
He mostly discusses trivial stuff I find boring. Sure, a political joke now and again, but he is NOT a political comedian.

This group can easily be molded to suit virtually any desired value system. In Americas capitalist system, normies have been adapted to consume whats easily attainable with little to no resistance. Popular is good. Therefore all that has been perceived to be vetted by their peers then is accepted.
As their majority cultural definitions are rooted in shallow concepts and fads that soon expire they're often then called old.
