Beef and coffee prices surging

Thanks to our (D) governor, our state now provides free lunches to *all* students, not just low-income. They estimated that this saves the average family $1,000/year per child. Let's hope the #FatFascistFelon's rumblings about the fed. govt. not chipping in for school lunches is just more of his bullshit.
There is no such thing as a free lunch.

Beef and coffee prices surge, grocery costs to spike

Nope, this is nothing more than the same political dishonesty that comes from leftists. Tell me about catastrophic Global Warming.

You just want to do your part in peddling baseless fear and panic in some strange attempt to get Trump to cave to Democrats. I don't think that's going to happen. I also don't believe anyone is going to fall for your crap. Let me know if anyone does.

Thanks to our (D) governor, our state now provides [some free stuff] .
You leftist cowards go for that crap. Just promise "free stuff" and you leftists roll over as ordered.

They estimated that this saves the average family $1,000/year per child.
They never get it right.

Let's hope the #FatFascistFelon's rumblings about the fed. govt. not chipping in for school lunches is just more of his bullshit.
Let's hope that you emerge from your inability to learn just long enough to learn what a fascist is.

Last year you thought an egg shortage was practically the end of the world. Now suddenly beef and coffee don't matter?
When you one day learn to read for comprehension, you'll see that's not what he wrote.

Beef and coffee prices are surging because of your tangerine Messiah.
Why haven't I seen anything of the sort? Oh, I know ... you live in a Democrat-run city or State that is artificially raising prices so that you will bitch about it and blame Trump. That would explain why there is no such surge in prices where I live.

The solution is for you to sack all your Democrat leaders and your prices will lower.

One of the things that teachers pay very close attention to... and handle.... is making sure that kids aren't hungry...From the littlest ones to the kids who are going straight from class to athletic practice or other school activities after school...

Agreed. Try talking to one of these Antifa fucks.
They don't want to talk. They want to be violent. There is no reasoning behind it other than hive-mind bullshit.

Democrats created the KKK, Antifa, and BLM. It's all the same. Democrats are the party of crime and violence.
yes.

if you try to go a little deeper than their slogan they start crashing out with invectives and violence, as you noted.

I guess I'm really saying nothing new here, but this is my first post of the day.

how are you people?

Walmart has already done that, actually. I looked for some pants there last week. The same ones I got a couple of years ago, yoga-type pants, that were slightly under 10 bucks are now $13.99. They are made in Indonesia. Kids' clothes have also gone up. Disposable diapers are outrageous; cloth just as bad. Thanks to our (D) governor, our state now provides free lunches to *all* students, not just low-income. They estimated that this saves the average family $1,000/year per child. He's a big Red Chinese fan, like most bullionaires are.
bullion heirs.

gates parents were IBM executives, and the head of the philanthropic scene in Redmond or wherever the fuck.

you know "philanthropists", the worst sorts. philanthropy is different than charity.

philanthropy means you're an exploitive parasite trying to make himself feel better by throwing relative chump change at an issue, and

then still spending most of it on champagne luncheons for yourself.

charity means it was an act of actual sacrifice, and not a cynical PR stunt which gets channelled back to your non profit expenses, like executive jets and more 500 plate brunches.

Yes, it's an artificial shortage. Ranchers are blaming the packing companies, payiing low ball prices, which is what happens when there is collusion among a handful of companies to screw suppliers.

  • Meatpacking is a concentrated industry, with the four largest firms handling 85 percent of all steer and heifer purchases and 67 percent of all hog purchases. High concentration, and its links to competition, is a focus of recent policy initiatives aimed at encouraging more competition.
  • Meatpacking industries concentrated rapidly in the 1980s and 1990s. An outpouring of research followed and found only limited evidence that high packer concentration caused reduced prices for livestock.
  • However, in recent years there is evidence of reduced competition in meatpacking, with lower prices for cattle. This evidence is reflected in sharply increased spreads between cattle prices and wholesale beef prices, the disappearance of excess capacity in packing plants, and recent entry into the industry by new packers. Entry and capacity expansion could encourage renewed competition in the industry.

After Reagan allowed wetbacks to be bussed in to bust strikes at Armour, wholesale prices went up instead of down; lower wages and the price savings are never passed on to consumers, no matter what idiot bullshit Reaganauts spread around. They rarely prosecute price fixing.
yes.

"trust busting" needs to come back into common parlance.
