As gross as this abuse of power by Trump is, i am actually very happy with this new standard being established for the future and when a Dem administration is in power.
Fox and all the right wing magat media put to the same test of 'is what a person on the air saying true or not' as the new standard to target and use government regulation power thru the FTC to shut them down is something that will hurt the right 10 times more than the left.
The biggest scourge growing was the 'lie culture', 'alternative facts' culture on the right and prior to Trump doing this i could see no path to shut it down due to free speech issues, as people prior had a right to lie or be mistaken or be unfunny. But Trump and magats saying those now equal cancellations of networks is something I am 100% in support of.

NextStar which controls 265 stations isn't the government and they preempted Jimmy Kemmil. Which caused ABC to yank him. Sure the head of the FCC bitched about Kemmil but the government DID NOTHING.

She has nice everything. The show is actually a remake of a French show. I watched the first episode of the French version and the pilot's plot was identical to the ABC version. I forget what platform the French original show is running on - it might be Hulu as well.

You aren't going to be able to cancel the FCC, you can actually get ABC to do something different if you show them their decisions will hurt them financially.
