I disagree with this sentiment. I think it's a good thing that we have a forum for people to talk. The UN is like JPP. Sure, there will always be countries who mirror Guno and ThatOwlCoward, who deliberately turn the forum into a shit-show whenever possible, but the overarching information crossflow is what matters. The beauty of the UN General Assembly is *all* behind the scenes, not the bluster that everyone sees. The UN Security Council remains a vehicle for actually coordinating countries to act when necessary.

Remember, when communication is eliminated, war is the only option.
