So far he’s been a disaster for UT.I was looking at LAST names, dude! Yes, I have heard the name "Archie Manning" before. He might be part of a famous family? What do you think?
But...... but......... but his last name is MANNING.I wonder how his receivers are handling this fiasco. They're open and he can't get the effing ball to them.
I haven't found a duplicate.I couldn't find one, so if this is a duplicate, hopefully @Damocles can merge them. It's 9/13 and I'm watching the Washington State Cougars get destroyed by UNT! The Huskies suck this year, they lost Penix Jr., a 2024 Heisman candidate to the NFL.
So - who do you think will win it all this year? It's early, but we've seen all teams play as of today. So I'm going to start a poll.
I think he has a good chance of winning the Heisman if he completes 45 -50% of his passes.But...... but......... but his last name is MANNING.![]()

Texas plays Texas this week! (Austin v. El Paso). If they keep giving the Longhorns this weak schedule, of course they'll maintain their standing!L

You're right. They play Sam Houston. Not a tough opponent, either.Huh? They played last week.
That's not going very far.I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's not going to be LSU.
Most teams in the top 10 are overrated IMO. Ohio State's win over Texas doesn't look impressive. They did slightly better than UTEP, at home no less.Over rated as hell. In fact it won't be an SEC team. It will be the big 10 champ.
Two weeks from now when the ducks visit Penn State we should have some clarity about who's who this year.
With at lest 3.5 yds./completion at minimum of course.L

Uh oh, friend! Looks like you made a pick! Miami! I'm still going with Oregon - may the best man (me) win! That's not going very far.

Penn State has played... nobody.
Miami has the best resume.
Oregon struggled against Wisconsin who got clobbered by Alabama.
FSU looks pretty impressive w/ that win over Alabama.
Georgia shoulda lost to Tenn.
At this point in the season I'd have to rank Miami at No. 1
FSU #2. After that... nobody looks particularly impressive.
Although Oklahoma looks like they have a good offense, LSU and Texas, good defenses but Texas' QB stinks.
Nobody really stands out at this point, IMO.
