There are many religions of Democrats, including the Church of Green, the Church of the Ozone Hole, the Church of Global Warming, the Church of Covid, the Church of Hate, the Church of Deviancy, the Church of the EV, the Church of Karl Marx, the Church of No God, etc. All of these deny science, mathematics, history, and traditional religions.

On this basis alone, it could be argued that to be a Democrat is to believe in primitive religions, thus satisfying the term 'cult'.

The term "cult" has been diluted over decades, as so much of language has been, but I've always thought it fundamentally describes a group of people persuaded to abandon societal norms and rational thinking for a delusional ideology completely detached from reality and learned experiences throughout human history. Members relinquish individual thought and personal responsibility, drawn by the promise of an easier life in a communal setting under the control of a master.

True, democrats have a long-standing obsession with the raw power of dictators, craving the ability to impose their "enlightened" vision on the masses. They see themselves as the chosen few, uniquely aware and morally superior, justified in controlling those too "ignorant" to know better. This elitist arrogance drives their push for centralized authority, where individual thought and responsibility are crushed under the weight of their utopian fantasies. History shows their flirtation with authoritarianism, look at their past fawning over Soviet or Maoist regimes to name just two of many. They’ll deny it, but the urge to rule, not govern, betrays their true colors, especially in recent times. Democracy be damned when they think they’re the ones who should call the shots.
