US drone crew blamed for Afghan civilian deaths

i don't need to search dunceler....the fact that since obama took office media coverage of the war has drastically declined....like i said...any five year old can turn on the news, internet, open a paper...no one who is honest will claim the coverage was the same under bush as obama

Well, then it should be a veritable piece of cake for you to put your hands on some verifiable numbers to back up your allegation, shouldn't it?

this is hilarious...i now have three homosexually obsessed fans who love calling me yurtsie....

keep up "boys"....your flames are burning brighter each day :)

Thats right...run away like a little sissy-boy!

Too scared to respond with anything other than his standard "they called me Yurtsie, they are mean and queer and not nice and gay and stupid and..."

Keep it up TentBoy...people are having a ball watching you rage on!

:good4u:

you're seriously a flaming homo snappy...you, onceler and legion troll all need to get a room and release your pent up energy over me....its quite creepy and pathetic

The point he is trying to make Yurt is that the decline in coverage started long before Obama took office. It coincided with the success of the surge in Iraq.

It has ticked up a bit lately as deaths in Afghanistan have hit media 'milestones'. But as long as Iraq (the 'unjustified' war) remains relatively calm... the coverage will remain weak. This is more of a product of the media not being able to sensationalize the good as much as they do the bad than it has to do with who is in office.

It's also a product of dems being pussies, the anti-war ones.

And a function of only .0000001957 percent of republicans being anti-war. And she's was of mixed parents a dem and a repuke.

it slowed down during the election season...and the economy...i've already told him i understood that, however, that doesn't explain why it didn't pick up again after the election season...

it hasn't been calm in afghanistan and iraq has had some serious deaths...where are the chants that we are losing, killing innocent civilians, the dead coming home in coffins....that was all the rage when bush was president? it doesn't take a genius to see it has decreased dramatically since obama took office

Unfortunately for you, coverage of Afghanistan DID pick up after Obama became President, to coincide with the heightened activity there.

As for "all the rage" when Bush was Prez, Afghanistan coverage was 1% of total coverage in 2007 AND 2008, and never dominated the news after the initial military action.

These are all verifiable facts. Once again, all you have is your "gut" on this. You're simply wrong.

It didn't pick up because the economy trumped everything.

Yep. Well, that and the fact that the media never really chanted that "we're losing," or had parades of coffins for days on end, or any one of the warped recollections that Yurtsie has presented here....
