If someone told Maxwell to expect a pardon if she testifies in TACO's favor, that would be discoverable, and would subject TACO to a bribery charge.
Again, Biden has made denying pardons the joke it currently is, look at your own party for the source of that problem. However, as someone here noted earlier, if someone told her that if she "remembers" things to testify about them and good things might happen and they were not the President nobody would be subject to bribery. The reality is, he could deny this without having to worry about her, just as Biden's criminal son never had to worry about the crimes he committed or any prosecution because he knew in the end he'd be pardoned.
