You do realize that the digital services tax has nothing to do with farmers, and it was 3%, not 400%, and levied against anyone doing business in a Canada not just Americans. Why does Trump have to always lie

This tax, which most nations have, was added during Covid, and at the moment, there are proposals worldwide to lessen or do away with it internationally, eliminating it isn’t a big deal, which is why Trump has to throw in all the lies in his text. Wasn’t a whole lot “won” other than a sign Canada is open for formal talks, which surely have been going on quietly since Trump began his tariff idiocy

This thread is about how fast Mark Carney would cave to President Trump and remove the digital services tax. I predicted that it would happen within seven days. It actually happened within two days. I was correct.

I've more often than not seen right-wingers posting from biased or downright jilted sources. The biggest example is Ziggy, who only posts random tweets as news. TDAK, Volsrock post from sewer internet sources. I could go on but I don't want to waste my time describing every poster on JPP. Reversely, I only occasionally see the jilted sources from the left-wingers. Maybe the occasional Daily KO but that's about it.

Most of the right wingers have spent a lifetime learning to siphon news from sources that are tilted away from them. Some of them do get excited about having some sources that are right wing, but in reality, those that want a discussion almost invariably have to find a source that leftists say they will "trust" otherwise all they get are you folks saying exactly what you said here. Sure, some folks post here for entertainment and do not care what you have to say about their sources, will argue that their source is "better" etc. but if you look at threads that have a long half life, the ones with tons of posts... if they begin from a right winger it will have a source your side has "blessed", the same post from a different source would have 3 responses from leftists about the source rather than the idea or information and there would be no discussion.

You're getting a little too kiss ass here. Who exactly are you basing this on? The threads that get the most reaction from left-wingers and centrists do so because of how bogus and childish their sources are. There are countless sources that leftists would trust, but half the time the sources are the same rehashed ones. If you had an example of a right-winger using good sourcing practices, I'm sure the forum would love to see it
