Well, it turns out that I was correct, per usual. More specifically, if you guessed TWO days, then you win an additional prize. As of yesterday (the 29th), Canada has removed the tax.

I posted my OP on Friday, the very same day that Trump sent out that Truth post. I do admit that anyone with the ability to reason could see that one coming, but come on now... just say "yes, gfm... you were correct". You wouldn't even have to add on the "per usual" part at the end.
