In a major victory for America and the Constitution, the SCOTUS ruled today that district courts are NOT empowered to issue nationwide injunctions. This effectively shuts down the insurrection by the judiciary and the sedition of judges like Boasberg.

It is noted that Barrett sided with the conservatives, sending a message that she will do so regarding the Anchor Babies case as well.

And the Left responds...

This was 6-3 with even Hollywood John Roberts siding with the pro-constitution side of the court. Barrett went nuclear on Brown - who is trying hard to displace Sotomayor as the dumbest SCOTUS Justice in history.

Did they?

What they did do was make the Executive Branch supreme over the other two branches of Government. Going forward, any President, even future Democrat Presdies, can pretty much declare anything he wants as law, he doesn’t need Congress, and any legal challenge is limited and burdensome.

Between the idiotic immunity bullshit, and this, Trump’s Court has established the precedent leading to an actual Imperial Presidency, exactly what the Founding Fathers were trying to avoid. And to think, not that long ago the right used to echo that less Government and a weaker Presidency was one of their core principles

(Now in rebuttal we are going to see another corny GIF or some remark saying the left is crying)

that issue is still undecided

Trump's EO stands. The seditious judges cannot issue nationwide injunctions to stop it. Which means Anchor Babies are done.

the court left intact the ability of plaintiffs to get broad relief through class action lawsuits - and that is exactly what will happen here

If district courts can't issue national injunctions, I'm not sure how that would work.

Did they?

Yes they did.

You can pout, but reality will still exist.

ROFL

What a stupid, childish claim.

The SCOTUS is still a check against executive power - district courts no longer have greater power than the President. The rule of law has been restored.

So, you cry "NUHN UHN" then go on to throw a temper tantrum over how unfair it is.

LOL

The meltdowns by the left are so fun to watch.

Not true, the Court did not rule on birthright citizenship, rather that district federal judges can not issue nationwide injunctions. If Trump deported anchor babies he would be breaking the existing law (https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/169/649/).

According to the Court District Court rulings would apply only in the areas where they hold jurisdiction.

This is a great victory!
:woot:

The court punted on birthright citizenship. That is true.

What they didn't punt on and is a YUGE loss for the left is these nationwide injunctions by district court judges. That is a no no now.
Not entirely, but makes it makes it much more difficult

And what you are missing, probably because you view everything in partisan glasses, is that this sets the precedent going forward, regardless of who is President. Along with the Court’s idiotic immunity ruling, in practice, the Executive Branch doesn’t need either of the other two bodies of the Government, he can pretty much do anything it wants, regardless of party.

Are you referring to Trumpian law??????

It's pretty simple, district courts can't issue national injunctions. That means to get one you have to go to appellate court or the supreme court.

The interesting part is this just destroyed like 25 to 30 Leftist court injunctions against Trump.

Exactly. So the SCOTUS has the check against other branches - not 4800 district courts.
