What's nonsense is your question, "why should they be judged on how well they are doing as a group?" Go back and read the reasons the principal gave for starting the group, and remember this......white folks in America are categorized by their ethnicity, blacks are categorized by their race...the people who determine this are the majority population that runs the country...which happens to be "white". Do some homework on American history regarding Americans of African descent and how they obtained equal standing under the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and hopefully you'll get the point.
