The all-out Marxist assault on Western Civilization

The following remarks/observations/facts etc. come mostly from Leslie Stein's book 'The Undermining of Western Civilization', with a few comments of my own.

Stein marks the LEFT's Marxist assault on America in particular, dating all the way back to the 1960s.

Stein documents what we now call "wokism," beginning in the 1960s with radical Marxist Student groups on college campuses around the U.S., including the SDS or Students for Democratic Society, the Black Panthers, and the Weather Underground organization--groups that doubled as terrorist organizations who waged war with the police and blew up federal buildings, all in an attempt to foment a communist revolution. They, collectively, were known as the "New Left."

The 1960s LEFT like today's LEFT captured our Institutions of Higher Learning by bullying, harassing, threatening, and committing violence against anyone who posed a threat to their ideology (namely, prominent conservative speakers) and installed pseudo-intellectuals in positions of authority on college campuses, where they were driven by left-wing politics, like gender studies and black studies.

Stein then reinforces and promulgates the neo-Marxist narratives with perhaps the most egregious example of pseudo-intellectualism: The 1619 Project, a piece of revisionist history so false and insane that it compelled American historians to denounce it. Stein also points out that massive corporations like Black Rock have uber-woke CEOs.

Stein describes the Marxist origins of woke concepts like Critical Race Theory, postcolonialism, Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and Islamic groups (Obama's favorites) on the LEFT that demonstrate a dangerous, pernicious, and destructive nature. The 2020 Summer of Love will attest to the LEFT's anti American Marxist destruction.

A book like this helps one to see the "bigger picture" of the Marxist revolution going on in today's culture.

BTW, at the height of the Marxist Revolution, I was 19 years old and enjoying a day of fun at Boston Commons Park when a bunch of long-haired drug-induced weirdos approached and asked me if I wanted to join their LEFTIST (SDS) or Students for Democratic Society--even offering a joint and or an LSD pill. I told them
that I wouldn't partake in their LSD trip, but instead I chose to fight for our country by signing up for the Army to do a tour in the Nam.

You get your social security check because 2 socialists groups and 1 communist group joined together and forced FDR to make a New Deal with working folk.

1969–1970: splintering and dissolution

Yeah, I lived through the LEFT's American Marxist origins, and looks like nothing has changed with today's Leftist Marxists
as they continue to upset and destroy our culture and our nation as a whole. Reread the OP to keep yourself updated on your preference for Marxism.

Values that evolved from Marxism are the only things that can possibly save Western Civilization, i.e., keep it civilized.

Libhater is a repugnant blob of diseased protoplasm whose existence diminishes Western Civilization.

Nevertheless, he/she/it is entitled to express his/her/its opinion,

and that itself may be one of our biggest problems.

Free speech is for humans, not devolved mutants, and Libhater having it does nobody any good.

What are the values of Marxism that fascinate you so much, Nifty?

A slight disagreement on @Libhater . He's in pain but is a person who tries to spread his pain to others rather man up and suck up his pain. He's such a weak person that he needs a "Daddy" to fix his life's problems.

IMO, his major weakness is fearing death. He should focus on being moral while he can. It's the best human beings can do. Moral being defined as people who care about others rather than themselves when it comes to the greater good.

The recognition that humans are social animals with non-optional social responsibilities is what I like.
The entire rugged individualist posture is a not-too-bright affectation from my perspective.
I don't know any quality people who have it.
Living as a lone wolf outside of an organized social structure,
human life would be intolerable for genetically normal humans, especially properly "finished" ones.

As with virtually all socialists, I'm not opposed to a private sector.
It just doesn't belong in EVERY phase of life if we wish to be civilized.
In America, the private sector exists where collective effort would be far more efficient and far more socially just.

You know my philosophy. Freedom from social responsibility is not a freedom to which civilized humans are entitled.
That belief is basically what defines a socialist.

She couldn’t be more wrong, in fact, the term “New Left” was a self given label to indicate a break from the actual Marxist left of the 1950’s implying it was not married to led by dogmatic ideology

Your author sounds like someone who either wasn’t there during that time, or, was and is still pissed off cause they were on the outside looking in

First off, Stein isn't a she or a tranny, for he is a male. Second, He's talking about the Left's rampage into full out Marxism as it took
place in the 1960s, not the 1950s.

Stein describes the current Marxist Left (as do I) as being deeply engraved with Marxist concepts like Critical Race Theory and post
colonialism, as well as groups like Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and Islamic groups that demonstrate the dangerous credence that the
Left gives them and their pernicious and destructive behavior..

You should read Stein's book 'The Undermining of Western Civilization' so as to get a thorough look-see into today's destructive
Democrat Marxist Party. Keep in mind that there isn't one issue that even comes close to suggesting that democrats are pro American.
Your party's welcome wagon for every criminal illegal alien cements that fact.

Okay. Where doesn't it belong and why?

Where would "collective effort" be more efficient?

In the unlikely case you know what Marxism is you're a hundred years or so too late .

Missed the point, the New Left was labeled “New” because it purposely broke from the Marxist left of the 1950’s implying it was not married to dogmatic ideology.

Either Stein is just another Mark Levin or you have aborted what he is saying since all you’ve offered is the radio rhetoric heard 24/7 on AM radio. The repeated scapegoat references was a dead giveaway

And there has always been multiple books about the decline of Western Civilization, most just pure generalized conspiracy theories. In facf it is a recurrent theme throughout history, views generated by where the author stands on the political spectrum

The so-called New-Left is much more Marxist aligned than it was in the 1960s. Reread the OP and tell me just what Marxist traits that the
OP mentioned is not currently being defined as other than Democrat Marxism of 2025.

How much more money would everyone on social security be getting if it were managed like a retirement fund bearing higher interest with a reserve of assets instead of being run as a government slush fund by Congress to pay for whatever?

Your hatred of your fellow human beings goes against Christ's words, Hater.

You should repent, son. Truly. Your hatred is taking you down a very dark path.

I believe it was George Bush who pushed for a bill or a policy that would end Social Security all together. It would work something
like this.......All current people on social security will maintain their SS benefits, but young people just getting their first job will no
longer rely on SS, instead, they would open their own private account(s) that they can keep funding that account (similar to an IRA
account that will keep accumulating interest as it matures. That plan would make sure that the government doesn't control your
account and unlike SS you'll be gaining interest on your account.

The rich? A shitload.

The majority of Americans? Robbed blind.

I'm curious, Terry: I have no doubt you are smart..or used to be in your youth. Like many Americans, your intelligence and skills exceeded those "rich kids" who were always above you. Your problem is that your resentment is clouding your mind that some of those "rich kids" actually care about making America the greatest nation in the world. A Beacon on a Hill. A lighthouse for freedom.

We're stuck with it. The best thing that could be done is something like 30 to 50% of the funding coming in is reinvested in the civilian stock and bond market rather than just government securities. That would fix the looming insolvency problem so long as that fix is coupled to Congress not being able to touch the funds.
