But this destroys your point. Both pageants are not necessarily about race but a specific ethnic bias or preference concerning beauty. Neither of them are racist or bigoted, in a negative way.

Just like the ethnic food aisle they are attempts to serve a niche market made up of customers that are under served. You've got fifty aisles to choose from. Why are you bitching because they have one?

Nonsense, these are niche cultural markets. Do you bitch about the ethnic food aisle or a grocery store that specializes in serving one specific ethnic group? Those come about not due to racism or bigotry in any form but because those markets are under served. Black may fit your definition of a race, but there is also a distinct black culture, which makes them an ethnic group, as well.

The mass market is dominated by whites. There is no need for a niche product aimed at explicitly at whites. There are niche products aimed at smaller sub groupings of whites.

For instance, you already have your Nazi symbols and confederate flags. What more do you want?

Ethnic food is a cultural thing. I have no problems with cultural things. Exposure to multiple cultures is a good thing for everyone.

Also, I'm not white, so any "white" label would not be mine by a long shot. So stuff that one in the dark canal you spew your shit from. (But I do eat "white" food pretty much all the time no matter which aisle I buy it from - there are damned few ethnic foods available that do not have a significant white-European influence.
