because you were arguing it was an infractionthus not 'criminal'... or questioning whether it made illegals criminals, ....if you read the code there are specific circumstances which make the crime criminal as you potentially can serve time behind bars, thus, at a minimum making the crime a misdemeanor and making illegals criminals....

seemed pretty clear to me

No, I have acknowledge throughout that illegal entry is a crime. Illegal presence is not. And so you show me a law that says that illegal entry is a crime. What's your point? I have stated as much numerous times.

And again the distinction is important because the Arizona law gives police the power to make a warrantless arrest based on probable cause of a civil violation of the law. If you don't have your papers they can arrest you. I am sure they will be just as likely to incorrectly arrest a white person, though, right?

good lord, i had no idea it would be this complicated to convey a simple idea to you. the code i gave you clearly indicates that in the instances specified the act of being here is in fact criminal if they are convicted. you have been yammering on about how they are not criminals because you keep trying to compare breaking the law to a civil breaking the law, which doesn't make someone a criminal. so...................i show yoiu the law which states that in those instances (which basically covers all incidents of illegal entry) it is in face criminal. thus your argument underlined above is false...unless you're arguing the code is also dehuminizing them....
