Many of us did. This is just the beginning. Trans people are few in number and without a powerful political lobby. The MAGAt cult determined long ago to start by subjugating and dehumanizing them. Next up: Other LGBTQ people, brown people, Black people, women, non-Christians, non-English speakers, substance addicts, homeless people, poor people, veterans, educators, scientists, researchers, human and civil rights activists, patriots, people who went to school, people who have intelligence, people who have integrity, etc. This much we know is true: Trump and his supporters are one of the most evil influences on the face of the planet. They are determined to destroy western civilization and liberal democracy. They are the enemies of modern society. Given the chance, they will build concentration camps and gas chambers. We live amongst modern day Nazis.

That's the point. They don't want everyone to have equal rights. They have been crystal clear about that for a very long time. They want the rights to be held, enjoyed, and controlled by white, straight, Christian men. And Baby Hitler aka Fat Fuck Trump started with the low hanging fruit. Who is going to fight for trans folk? Not enough in number or importance to save them from their plight. Trump will move onto the next minority. And then the next and then the next. My hope in this sometimes kind of diverse society is that each Trump supporter is related to someone whom Trump will capture, victimize, torture, and murder or deport. I hope that they cry themselves to sleep when they realize that they destroyed the country, their families, and any hope they had for dignity and respect.
