Dixie, what seperates what McVeigh wanted from what you want...?

Nope Damo , it had NO plates.

He never put plates on them.

He wanted to be caught and SAID so himself.

He had balls to do what he did, THAT DOES NOT MAKI IT A GOOD THING!

Balls do not translate to being a wonderful person.

You men just refuse to accept that.
*sigh*

Even if he did "want to be caught" it still takes no balls to blow up innocents and children and run away. He may have had hubris, but it takes no courage (balls) to blow something else up. Now the guys who blow themselves up to take a few... they have balls, it takes a bit to work past that kind of fear and actually do that.

I've never said "balls" = "good" (nor has anybody else in this thread) that's something you are projecting onto what I have said because you desperately want to believe that somehow men are less of a person than you are, you are wrong.

HAHA, no. they are retiring because they know they did the wrong thing and don't stand a chance for re-election. they KNEW their jobs were to do the will of the people, not what they thought was right.

Huh? They're not supposed to do what's right? That's an unusual take on things.

what's 'right' is what their constituents tell them. in case you've forgotten ( i know that you have) WE THE PEOPLE run this country.

YOU are part of the problem, apple. this is why we can't hold elected officials accountable for misconduct. YOU give them your approval to do whatever the fuck they want in the name of whats 'right', and the courts, with your further approval, tell YOU that their accountability is at the ballot box. It's wrong.

YOU helped destroy america. congratulations.

There's nothing wrong with it. Otherwise, one may as well elect a bozo and have them run surveys every time a vote comes along. Have a web site and the people vote. Then the bozo goes to Congress and simply repeats what the poll indicated on the web site.

Education, morals, values won't matter. Anyone can do that.

Shut up retard, I posted the goddamn dictionary definition and anyone with half a fucking brain can see that is FITS EXACTLY with this administration's agenda! You want to try and twist and distort the facts and divert the conversation because I just schooled your ass sideways, and you can't handle it! So you just keep right on blathering your mindless nonsense and pretending you've made a point... the only point is on top of your empty PINHEAD!

And there you have it folks......when properly challenged with facts and logic in a way that any high school sophomore could handle, Dixie has a complete meltdown, wails and stamps his widdle feet, thumps his chest with a lot of self aggrandizing blathering AND AVOIDS ANY LOGICAL OR FACTUAL REBUTTAL.....AVOIDING ADDRESSING THE OTHER POINTS I PUT FORTH.

Dixie is your a-typical Confederate flag waving, teabagging neocon....like a little bird, he's all noise and full of it! Watch the little dope repeat his BS in various forms....tragic. :cof1:

And there you have it folks... Chicklet posting the same exact paragraph he posts in virtually every thread on every topic of conversation. It's as if he has the mental capacity of a small appliance bulb. My suspicion is, he is an alcoholic or drug addict, because this sort of mindless repeating of the same nonsense over and over, is a classic symptom. Let's hope he gets help for his problem soon, before it's too late.

Translation: the little dope doesn't have the brains or the stones to honestly address what was put to him...or to try and logically refute my answers to what he did post. Instead, he demonstrates a lack of creativity by mimicking my response style to regurgitate his blowhard dodge. Like I said folks, when properly challenged, Conferderate flag waving, neocon clowns like Dixie can't debate they're way out of a teabag, as the chronology of this thread shows. So until he grows a pair and debates honestly, I'll leave him to peddle his BS to satisfy his ego.

And yet another repeat of the previous post... it is a stunning illness!

It was the right thing to do. The citizens in every country that has some form of government involvement in health care want more government involvement. Any politician that tries to dismantle their government plan is ostracized.

Every country. No exception.

Why are you having difficulty understanding that?

Because it is a false argument, that's why. It's sheer propaganda you've been spoon-fed by Socialists, and for whatever reason, you are too stupid to realize you've been duped.

How about the country of Massachusetts? (It's as big as some of the foreign countries you are citing) They have what is the 'model' for Obamacare, and they just elected a Republican to a seat held by Democrats most of my life, specifically because they opposed a nationalized version of Massachusetts health care! The Democratic Party is who was "ostracized" in Massachusetts of all places! The home state of the guy who championed universal health care. This should be enough to tell you this bunch of garbage they passed, was not wanted... even by the people who wanted nationalized health care!

The part you seem to be having particular difficulty understanding is, we live in a Representative Republic, and our elected officials are supposed to vote for what their constituents (WE THE PEOPLE) want, not what some Socialist nitwit on a message board thinks is "best for the country!"

The citizens in those countries get to vote and they never vote for anyone who proposes weakening their health plan. It is you who has been fed propaganda.

Do some research. Show me one country that dismantled their health plan. Just ONE country.

Wrong! (Excerpt) Brown supported the 2006 Massachusetts health care reform, which requires all residents to have health insurance, with a state-subsidized plan created for those who cannot afford to insure themselves.

Brown does not support President Obama's health care reform plan in its current form as approved by the Democratic-led House and Senate. He has stated this plan is fiscally unsound, and during his campaign notably pledged to be the 41st vote to filibuster the bill in the Senate.[End)

Brown isn't against health care. He objected to Obama's plan because it isn't modeled after the Massachusetts plan and when it comes to modeling Brown knows his stuff. Just ask the women. :)

Brown knows a government plan is good. (Some need to be tweaked a bit.) People in dozens of countries comprising different races and religions and economic conditions all know government health plans are good.

Why? Because they are good. It is the lies and deceit spread by the Repubs that has resulted in people opposing them. But not to worry. The plan will go ahead and once the people start seeing the advantages the opposition to it will disappear just like it did in every other country that has a government plan.

By the time Obama steps down in 2017 this discussion will be ancient history. The current objectors will say to themselves, "What was I thinking?" and the Repubs will, once again, be exposed for the liars and deceivers they are.

Come on Dixie, I wanna see you get all upset again!

Ah, yes. The "pay or suffer" plan. The "let's try to take their house before they get well" plan. The "let's see if we can bankrupt the person before they die" plan.

The government has been doing this for decades in the justice system. It was only a matter of time before they moved it to the health care sector. why didn't you say something about it before?

Doing what in the justice system?

The "pay or suffer" plan. The "let's try to take their house before they get well" plan. The "let's see if we can bankrupt the person before they die" plan.

THOSE!

BTW... If there are people who are suffering because they can't pay, we should publicly educate them about Medicaid. A government program to provide medical care to people who can't afford it, so they don't have to suffer if they can't pay.

I would also like to see the 'examples' of people who have lost their homes due to unpaid medical bills. I've never known of such a case, most people find a way to stay in their homes, regardless of how much the medical bill is. Bankruptcy is also very rare for people who only have outstanding medical debts, the courts are very understanding about health care needs and medical emergencies, and they are typically on the side of the debtor. I'm not saying it doesn't ever happen, it's just very rare, and usually there are other mitigating factors involved, it's not just poor Harry who couldn't pay his doctor bill! More like, poor Harry who couldn't pay his doctor bill, but could afford to go to Vegas and drop $20 grand on gambling.

What you are doing is using emotionalism to play on people's feelings... all these poor people who are being done an injustice by the current system! Only, we have passed all kinds of laws to protect the poor, to make sure they get proper medical attention, even if they can't pay. We've funded State Health Clinics to provide free medical care for the poor, and we've passed Indigent Care Laws in every state, to ensure those without money can still be treated in an emergency. We have created safety net after safety net, to protect the people who you want to use as an emotional example, and you just go right on with the emotionalism anyway, as if you want to completely ignore what has been done so far!

The Obamacare system will destroy the quality and accessibility of medical care. It will also decrease the number of practicing physicians, it has already started doing this, and the bill hasn't even really gone into effect yet! You're going to quickly have a situation where there are far more people demanding health care and far fewer people to provide it. What do you think is going to happen in that environment? The only way we can handle it, is RATIONING of health care! Having a government entity decide whether you actually NEED the medical care you want. When that situation actually starts becoming a reality, I suspect you will hear plenty of outcry, and there is no answer or solution to the problem then. It's too late to "revert" because you've destroyed the old system, and there is nothing to go back to.

Like I said before, it is unfortunate that you will never see all of this happen, because in 2013, the Republican president will sign a repeal of Obamacare, stopping this insanity in it's tracks. Of course, we'll have to endure you're continued whining and lying about this phantom problem, but hopefully America will have learned it's lesson, and for the rest of your miserable life, will never elect another Socialist Marxist as President of the United States!

There's nobody that I know of who is against health care. That is why the call is to replace the current debacle before most of it comes into effect.
