I've still got steam coming out of my ears over this idiotic comment! Yes, other countries have government health care and still have doctors, but the BEST of the BEST are here in the good old US of A! Why do you suppose that's the case? Do Asian doctors just enjoy helping people so much, they had to come to America? Why didn't they stay at home and help their own people? Could it possibly be, they make considerably MORE money in the USA practicing medicine? Could it be, the system we have attracts the best and brightest because it rewards them adequately? Nahhh... I'm sure you'll say they just like living in America, and they would be perfectly fine with making the same money as they would if they lived in their own countries, with their own families and friends, under the government-run system... right?
Talking about doctors and health you have to relax Dixie. It's not good for your health.

If you did a bit of research you'd see that life expectancy in countries with government health care is equal to or higher than the US. Either the doctors are just as good or God favors those countries.

There will always be exceptional doctors. The question is how many people can afford and get access to an exceptional doctor? Most people do not have brain tumors or diseases that require highly trained doctors. Most people just want a regular, run of the mill, qualified doctor.
As for your continued assertion there will be a severe shortage of doctors that is not the case in countries with government plans. If it was the people would vote in politicians who would scrap the plan but the opposite happens. The people like the plans.
Dixie, the rest of the world isn't crazy although you probably think it is. Once you realize that it will all make sense.
