And we still rate in the 20th to 40th in terms of lengevity, cancer survival, infant mortality, and number of insured. I would think you'd want to see our money better spent. We spend twice per capita than europe as a whole, and we have more uncovered. So blather on fool. I won't expect logic to interfere with your worship of the Limbaugh Letter.

I'm just telling you that you are making apples to oranges comparisons, and claiming that they are apples to apples. All the while you're wanting precedent, but you've never once cared about it when the Republicans were leading the charge. Uhm NOoooo... that is what Apple is doing! I am asking for an apple to compare our apple to, and all he is presenting are oranges. A country with 1/20th the GDP and population of the US, is not a valid comparable example, it is an orange where the US is an apple. If you want to compare apples to apples, I am all for that... as soon as we have an apple to compare, we can get started, but so far, all we have are oranges. Switzerland? Orange! Denmark? Orange! Australia? Orange! France? Orange! Britain? Orange! Germany? Orange! Sweden? Orange! Finland? Orange! Moldova? Orange! Czech Republic? Orange! Where is the Apple? No, I want to compare Apples to Apples, and we can't do that by comparing American health care to that in Denmark. I asked for an Apple to compare our Apple to, and we will discuss it from there... but no one can give me an Apple! It doesn't have to be the exact same size, it does need to be similar in size, because number of people is very important when talking about giving them all free health care. It's not unfair for me to request an example that fits what we are discussing, is it?

As for wars, you should have spent more time talking to your congressman, who more than likely voted to go to war in Iraq and Afghanistan, because I can't do much about the representative government, it's the system we're stuck with... maybe one day you'll get to be the King?

Lesson #1. Every country with a government plan spends less per capita than the US. About half as much so when you read stories about how those countries are facing a budget crisis you have to remember it is a manufactured crisis. They never budget enough so they always go over budget. It's as simple as that.

As for Canadians trying to inject capitalism back into the health care system it's the folks who want a piece of the action. I told you before the majority of Canadians do not want capitalism in their health care system. The government has fought against people trying to undermine the system.

France spends 11% compared to the US 16% of GDP. The United Kingdom - 8.4%.

Do some research instead of reading blogs written by folks as ignorant as yourself.
 
funny how stupid conservatard's want to use future HC as prosperity. How about present Asset values that determine wealth ie stocks. Bush didn't leave them much higher when he left office and the dollar was way lower than when he got in.

We get a somewhat encouraging job report, but we just hired census workers and IRS agents, no manufacturing sector jobs, no capitalist expansion jobs. Yet, here are the minions, running around gloating and celebrating as if Happy Days Are Here Again!

We've got to stop allowing them to demonize capitalism. Our prosperity and growth are dependent upon capitalists doing what they do, making money, growing and thriving... expanding to make more money... if that is happening, things are good for all of us, it is "economic prosperity" and we all benefit. They create the new jobs, they pay the raises in salaries, and they are the backbone of the lifestyle we've all become accustomed to in America.

And it is the PRIVATE INDUSTRIES who collude with the government to be favored in receiving the currency.

Our society is fascist due to fiat currency and the totalitarianism and complete power it engenders. What you think you're defending doesn't actually exist.

So what is the solution, pinhead? Anarchy? Let's just fucking revolt and destroy society and civilization as we know it and start all over again!! You just have a really warped cynicism about everything, and I honestly don't know what your resolution to anything would be, other than to fucking destroy everything because it is all corrupt and bad! Is THAT what you advocate we do here?

Bottom line is this, money and power are joined at the hip, not just in an American capitalist society, but with all humans in general. Unless you want us all living in a cave, cooking buffalo over an open fire, there isn't much you can do about power, money, and corruption. I have no problem with sending some corrupt power-hungry greedster to the brink for breaking the law... DO IT! Lock their white collar criminal asses away for 100 years for all I care!
