Hopey Changie!

Translation:

None of it was. Damocles used a tiny bit of hyperbole and I just wanted to defend my ideation so badly that I decided to jump in front of that and take that punch for Jarod then whine about it afterward.

In my post I was very clear why "less" jobs losses after massive losses are not an indicator of good things all without talking about things relative to political parties.

And now here comes Damo's standard endgame:

Whenever he's caught in a lie he can't spin his way out of, he resorts to the same tired "translation" game.

He then proceeds to make up ridiculous nonsense to belittle the person who caught him in the lie.

I've seen it dozens of times since I got here...and this convo played out just the way I expected it would...GOOD JOB DAMO!

LOL. Face it, nothing in my post was "partisan", never did I claim that a republican would have done any better at it or anything. I simply explained why less losses is not an indication of good things. I used a small bit of hyperbole (nothing out of the norm for a conversation, fully understood by all involved), and later I used (with your post specifically) condescension.

I can go and copy and paste the simple example that even you can understand (yes, condescension, because I believe that some posts deserve it).

sigh... time to hit the road... good luck damo... good to get back on here, the way things are going ill propably have more time for this now.

and that is saying that job loss is good. i can understand if thats not what you ment, but it is what you said.

Do you agree that the economy losing 11,000 in one month is better than the economy losing 800,000 in one month?

Both a boon to the site and a bummer to you. Keep busy and make money, dude.

Awww! Wassa matter Zapless? You don't like it when you can't have the main floor and whine at everyone you don't like, huh bunky? Behind the scenes Zappa, the wascally wabbit, is wielding his neg rep sword (it's not very impressive I might add. Kind of short and stubby ya know) and letting me know exactly what a big fat whiney girl he really is.

Waaaaa! Waaaaa! His wittle fweeings is hurt!

:pke::gives::pke:

 More sad. You desperately grip onto a childlike post attempting to split hairs on the difference between good and powerfully good.

Seriously, the whole thread was how great the "hopey-changey" thing was working for ya, you got into the jobs numbers attempting to show that the "trend" showed that it was more great things for the "hopey-changey"...

I simply point out that less jobs losses is not an indicator of "powerfully good change" happening in the economy and explained it in simple terms.

I'll also note I noted that the "change" people voted for was in government, they expected promised transparency, instead they got force-fed a bill they made clear they didn't want. It pissed them off, and they are still pissed.

I do not belive that the American people have made it clear that as a whole they do not want the Health Care Bill.

Show me where Jarod used the term "powerfully good change" in this thread and I'll apologize.

Until then stop putting words in other people's mouths.

And yes...you have become sad.

My words exactly, thank you for speaking up in my absence.

Less job loss is better than more job loss. Its a basic fact.
Continued job loss at this point is very bad, it shows a fundamental issue with our economy that this administration is trying to avoid talking about (rightfully so, it's not good to talk down the economy when you are President it makes things worse).

I gave a direct example of why such an indicator doesn't mean good things, take that previous example and multiply it by millions of companies. Less job loss isn't "good" at this point, it is a reflection that the same issue is underlying that caused the collapse to begin with.

So you belive more job loss would be better?!? Im confused...

I agree they did not want to be force fed the bill, that does not mean they dont want the bill.
It is clear that people do not want this bill. The overwhelming numbers show they want them to start over and do it right.

Yeah, you are confused, that usually comes from either deliberate or accidental reading comprehension issues.

At least read my example, it will explain in smaller scale why "less losses" at this time isn't a sign of "good". Massive losses would be worse, but losses at this point are not a sign of the economy getting better, it isn't even that hard to figure out that companies do not have much more room to lay people off without closing doors. At this point they lay off as small as possible and hope to survive. You should look elsewhere for signs of improving economy rather than attempt to make this bad sign fit into your imaginary "hopey-changey" box.
