Where was Rush scornful of Rahm? He agreed with him and defended Rahm's use of the word retard.

Satire is what Stephen Colbert does. He makes himself a caricature of right wing pundits in order to expose them to ridicule. That had nothing to do with Rush's comments.

Can you explain how Rush's comments qualify as satire or not? It is certainly not obvious that is satire as the comments do not even remotely appear to fit the definition.

I rather enjoy skewering him for the obvious coward that he is.
He's described homo-pedophilia activity with other poster's children many times, as this appears to be his favorite. He's also posted a rather lengthy, descriptive story about a biker gang-rape of another poster's daughter.
These are in retaliation for him losing political debates in an anonymous internet forum. Imagine what he's like in person?

A simple reading of the definition that you posted along with a basic understanding of the English language would educate all but the dim or uninitiated on what constitutes satire. You may consider that an ad hom if you wish but I state it as a simple truth.
