They deny that their #CrookedCarrot committed *any* crimes, let alone treason. Stolen classified materials? "Yeah but Biden!" Election tampering: "Everyone knows it was a stolen election so who cares?" January 6: "He said the word 'peaceful.'" Tax evasion: "Yeah but Hunter!" Porno star pay-off: "Any guy would pork THAT." That's the trend. Still, it's remarkable to see prominent Republicans coming out against the Trumpers.

IMO, they can see what's coming down the pike for Trump (conviction and house arrest) and are prepping the Party to support it.

Each day little snippets are coming out from Cheney's book. One of the colleagues told her privately that he should have voted to impeach trump, but he feared for his wife/new baby's safety.
