Domestic oil production set to break records

<mandatory sarcasm alert>

Wut now? I thought "Brandon" shut down leases and ANWR and the Keystone and made sure that we all paid a lot more to fill up. It's not true??

Biden was and is against allowing oil companies to drill in your backyard or on our pristine lands. The right likes to highlight that fact as being against drilling while Biden has been pushing oil companies to drill and produce more everywhere they currently do. This record shows that drilling and fucking up lands that we don't want them to is not necessary to set oil production records. Actually many on the left are upset with him for this. Naturally the right will twist the facts to somehow be against him for doing what they have been screaming we do for years.

The Trump administration increased oil production by 140% the Biden administration has yet to reach the level of production as they started with in Jan 2021. So they are short on the growth of production.

HAHAHAHA New excuse? We now produce more oil than we ever did. Now it still isn't enough?

Biden has stopped leasing in the Gulf where we have many oil wells. Drilling and oil platforms have been good for fish in the Gulf overall. I have fished off the Texas coast many times. The best fishing is around the base of oil rigs.

Crude oil production on track to break 2019 mark, says EIA forecast

AUGUST 10, 2022

Next year could be a record year for U.S. crude oil production, according to the Energy Information Administration’s short-term energy outlook.

The outlook, released on Aug. 9, predicts that U.S. crude oil production will average 11.9 million barrels per day in 2022. By 2023, that number jumps to 12.7 million barrels per day, a 70,000 barrel per day decrease from EIA’s July outlook. However, that forecast would still break the previous mark of 12.3 million barrels per day, which was set in 2019.

https://landline.media/crude-oil-pr...expects that number to,$95 per barrel in 2023.

You mean the far right media lied?

Oh, the humanity!

And notice how the price per barrel isn't really changing that much, which isn't really leading to much cheaper gas at the pump?

Gee, it's almost as if there's some collection of oil producing nations that have all formed an alliance together to influence the price of oil on the global markets, where all oil is bought and sold....

I got told today that 43 cents/gal of our very expensive Washington gas goes to a new state tax called Cap and Trade.....it is tied to the Save The Planet scam.....is programed to go way up from here.

I found this to be interesting.

Do you think they'll admit to us that they were full of shit?

Of course not. According to some, the country is barely recognizable since Biden took office. :rofl2:

I suppose in a way that's true. GDP is up, unemployment is way down, the U.S. inflation rate ranks below that of other industrialized countries, domestic oil production is up, consumer spending is way up as is travel, the pandemic is gone, unions are stronger, income is up for regular people, the deficit is down by almost $1 BILLION, and so on and so on. Yes, hardly recognizable from the four long years of sorrow. :rofl2:

97% of Americans are working. It's impossible to paint a bleak picture with that being true.

Based on the intrepid reporting of rightwing bloggers, I was really expecting domestic oil production to crater under Biden, and watch as we begged Russia and Iran to please send us oil.

Well, if Trump was president he'd just go TAKE their oil.
