Every economic indicator other than CPI is really good. I mean REALLY good. We could have easily fallen into a recession but we haven't. We have good growth, good wage growth, and good job numbers. Sadly, perception is reality, and people get their news from Facebook, Fox News, American Thinker, Breitbart, etc, etc. They have zero journalistic integrity. I was watching Andrea Mitchell this morning, one of her guests gave her a birthday present, and her immediate reaction was 'Thank you. I'll put this aside and make sure there aren't any issues'. That's called ethics. It is sadly lacking in today's 'journalism'.

You bring up a good point. Clearly there are a very good number of politically active people in this country. At the same time there are people who vote for whom politics don't dominate their life and it's not what they spend their time talking about all day like folks on here. Their reasons for voting how they do can be all over the board and might not always make sense to partisans/ideologues like us.

I do not think Trump gains one vote due to Biden's age, as the election gets closer and the attack ads and media start to focus on Trump's age, and obesity being worse.

If Trump was to be elected in 2024, he would finish the term (if he does not die) as the US oldest EVER POTUS. So again i just do not see people changing a vote from Biden to Trump based on that.


And Trump's team knows that. They know his base is locked but so to is his upside. They accept they are not going to win over any meaningful numbers of new voters and thus why they are so focused on getting their right wing billionaires to pour money into 3rd party campaigns (No Labels, Cornell West, Kennedy, etc) in the hopes they can tear off some Biden votes to lower his total.

Some of you nutters care about that, but no sane person does. 'Human' is a classifications for the animal type. It does not speak to the stage, viability or life of zygote as it progresses.

Dems took full control of the Virginia legislature. Youngkin cannot ram through his nonsensical agenda now

MAGAs are celebrating a poll that shows declining support for Biden. Meanwhile a 'generic' Democrat wins over trump by 8 points. When the rubber hits the road, Democrats/Independents will vote for Biden.

Many Republicans will simply refuse to vote, rather than support a Nazi at the top of their ticket
