Trump argued the value of the property was so low that his tax bill was too high.
This wasn't about taxes but about property value. Property taxes are based on the value of the property. Something you seem to be completely unaware of.

Why do you want to allow wealthy people to have a different legal standard than the rest of us. Why do you feel its okay to allow Trump to get away with lying on loan applications, to get better interest rates, but are okay with the poor guy having no redress against a huge insurance company that will not live up to its obligations?

I have never once valued a property I own as $285 million more than it's market value.
I have never once claimed my home is 30,000 sq ft on a financial document when it is only 10,000 sq ft.

Can you provide proof of any liberal doing those things?

The laws and statutes of the State of New York say that the AG also has a right to bring suit.

sorry, but I think that was your ass......now again, repeat after me.....what IS the value of the property........obviously the bank didn't think it was $18M......are we supposed to believe the judge knew more about it than the bank who took it as collateral?.......

The Bank was lied to and does not disagree so take your made up shit out of here.

This was one of the clearest cases of fraud ever. Summary judgements are pretty rare but Trump is a such an obvious and dumb criminal, he earned his special treatment.

Why wont it succeed? Such prosecution has happened, but I agree it rarely comes to the attention of prosecutors.

My advice for any businessman who is breaking the law to get ahead, don't go out in public bragging about how successful and self made you were.
Don't use your fraudulent success as justification for getting new public job.

At least you admitted Trump committed a fraud above by saying if Trump said it was worth less than $16MM, which he did, then he must be committing a fraud.
